I said it last week but I’ll say it again this week, what a wild week in the Big Brother house!! Dustin won HOH last week and he put up Jen and Kail for eviction. Same nominations from last week. Dustin had told Kail that he was going to put her up as a pawn which wasn’t necessarily true as he said that as long as either Kail, Jen, Zach, or Nick went home this week that his week as HOH was accomplished. Kail did not like the idea of being told of being a pawn cause if you know anything about Big Brother history, the pawn usually ends up going home. This brought us to the veto ceremony which started the craziness of the week. Jen drew out Jameka’s name to play for her in the veto ceremony. Jameka then said that this was a message from God that she was meant to play hard for Jen and get her off of the block. This really set things off between a lot of the late night crew. Jameka told Jen that she would use the veto on her and save her if she won it. The veto ceremony was a Big Brother catchphrase game. If you get an answer wrong, you’re out. You got points for each question that you got right. However, prizes were thrown in a couple of times where people could give up points to take the prizes. This set things off big too when Dustin first took a trip for two to Barbados. The second one was $5000 which he buzzed in and took too. Dustin was in the lead at this time too and probably would have won the veto competition cause he would have had such a big lead. People were mad over Dustin doing this and it didn’t help his cause that the night before he made a big speech about everyone playing as hard as they could for the veto to keep the nominations the same. This brings it down to Jameka, Kail, Dustin, and Jessica. Jameka had the lead and Jen buzzed in and got the question wrong ending the competition. If you get it wrong, you’re out but that question is gone too. That led to Jameka winning the veto. Jameka kept her word and used the veto. The late night crew decided to put up Nick for eviction. In fact, when I went online and saw Nick’s picture with a nomination symbol beside it, my first thought was “they’re backdooring him”. Yep. Things exploded after that with Dick being furious over Jen using Jameka knowing that she was going to keep her word. It does look like that Jen did purposely answer wrong to end the competition from what is being seen and heard on the feeds. Daniele finally went off on Jen cause Daniele said she was tired of the way that Jen has treated her the whole time they’ve been in the house. Things started getting personal quick. Nick was defending Daniele telling Jen to get out of the room. Dick listened to the conversation for a little bit and Jen brought up Daniele’s boyfriend from home which saw Dick set off leading him to go by and pour the rest of his tea on Jen’s head. I can’t make this stuff up. People separated mostly after that but Jen made another comment and that set off Nick even more. Jen was then seen going around asking people in the house if they had seen what just happened. Tonight’s vote was pretty much a no brainer with Nick being sent home on a 6-2 vote. The two votes for Kail to go came from Zach and Eric. Yes, America’s vote was once again for Kail. GEEZ!!! This is messing his game up big time. What I don’t like about America’s vote is that we’re told to vote immediately after Tuesday’s episode on who should go home. A lot can happen in the days after the veto ceremony and he is stuck with that vote. When Nick went up, I knew it was a backdoor and had to be a group decision. If you don’t watch the feeds, you probably don’t know that and then Kail got the vote. This is going to seriously mess up Eric’s game if he keeps having to cover up his vote. I’m guessing that Jen will get the blame for the other vote once again. The HOH competition began which is an endurance challenge with the houseguests hanging from a clock like deal upside down. Last one still hanging on is HOH as the show ended.
Other Big Brother thoughts from the week. Stop crying Amber. My goodness, that girl cries more than anyone I’ve ever seen on a reality show. I liked Amber early on but watching her on the feeds sees her all over the place in her game playing. She’ll be having a conversation with people only to go to someone else telling stuff that wasn’t actually said in the previous conversation. Her and Dustin were a tight alliance but I’m not sure how solid that is now. Amber is going to have to settle down or she will probably be the first to go if the original four person alliance is completely wiped out unless the late night crew turns on each other. Anyway, Amber is going to be the first to be cut loose unless someone does something else to top her. One thing that I’ve noticed about this year’s Big Brother is that it seems to be all over the place on who people do and don’t like. It seems to be preference on what side you’re on, who your favorites are, who gets on your nerves and who doesn’t, lots of things.
What You Missed On The Live Feeds: Jokers is furious right now as everyone had tuned in for the HOH competition and the feeds were shut off for an hour. The feeds finally came back after an hour showing four people left and people were going nuts that it was not shown live. I am not happy about it at all either cause that is the best thing about the feeds is being able to watch the couple of endurance live HOH competitions each season. Things are getting personal in the HOH competition too with comments that are flying. Anyone else get the feeling that this house is going to go nuts this week? Even more than it already has!! Moving on to the rest of the live feed stuff, The late night crew continues to be very fun to watch. Most of them stay up till about 4 or 5am Big Brother time. It is interesting to listen to them debate back and forth on stuff. They talked at one point of how funny it would be to just keep nominating Jen and Kail every week and then backdoor someone else but having them nominated four weeks in a row. They were obviously joking but you never know if it could happen depending on what they decide to do. Funny game of quarters that was played by several houseguests. The game went for about an hour and Jessica and Eric weren’t doing so well. LOL. I saw the feed video of the show clip that played out with the house trying to get away from Zach out in the cup. It literally was as quick as it happened on TV with people getting out of there. I think it was faster. LOL. Zach is seriously creeping people out in the house. I’ve yet to really figure out his game plan to win this thing. He has been approaching people in the last few days about strategy that he hasn’t even talked to in the house. Funny when he approached Daniele about strategy and she basically said “you don’t like me so why do are you talking to me”. Eric said he hasn’t talked to Zach hardly at all and he got approached too by him. Zach really is on his own in the house. Two of my favorite people to watch are Eric and Jessica together. They’re a fun duo and are just plain cute together. It’s odd how the producers aren’t showing them at all together on the show. One thing that annoys me somewhat with the show is that they don’t feature Eric much at all besides the America’s Player stuff. He is a lot more key in decisions than they show. Dick has said several times that he loves hearing his points of view on things in the group discussions. He provides a ton of laughs for the late night crew as well. They have never figured out who did the mustard attack and then there was a M&M attack on Eric and Kail where M&M’s got dumped in their beds as a prank. Dick is getting blamed for both. Eric is playing off all these things perfectly. Also, the finger pointing on who the vote for Kail was last week has been funny too with Eric’s name not being brought up once. Jen has been blamed as has been Nick and Daniele. Kail thinks it was Daniele that voted for her to go. Eric is a very smart player and people are going to have to keep an eye on him. He made a comment to the late night crew joking about how Jen keeps popping up in conversations. Eric talked about the episode last season where Erika kept popping up all over the place so people couldn’t talk about her. So, he told them that if he senses that they’re getting ready to get rid of him, he’s going to be with everyone every five milliseconds to stop any conversation about getting rid of him. Very funny. Speaking of funny and this next comment is very true. Dick and Dustin were joking in the HOH room about the veto competition and Dustin pointed out what happens after every competition, “Dick chews someone out, Amber cries, and Nick and Daniele go sit in a corner.” I cracked up for that one laughing. He said that it has happened four competitions in a row.

NBC is said to have Jimmy Fallon at the top of their list for a replacement for Conan O’Brien in the late night time slot when Conan moves over to take over The Tonight Show. Fallon is of course from Saturday Night Live fame.
A couple of Carrie Underwood notes. Her new album which will be her second album is set to be released in October. The first single off the album, So Small, is now playing on radio. Also, Carrie’s first album, Some Hearts, has now passed over Kelly Clarkson’s Breakaway as the highest selling Idol alum album ever. As of last week, Carrie’s album had sold 5,813,400 and Kelly’s had sold 5,813,200. I’m sticking by my comment that Carrie is going to end up being the most successful Idol winner ever.
Dean Cain is set to guest star on Smallville this season. So, that is yet another former Clark Kent that will be seen on Smallville as Christopher Reeve guest starred in a couple of past seasons of Smallville.
May 21, 2010 has been named as the date for the release of the fourth Shrek movie.
The My Boys season premiere was this past Monday with two new episodes. We sure didn’t get anywhere with PJ and Brendan. That may be something they save for later in the season. The first episode featured the follow up to their kiss from the end of last season. I liked the stuff with the fantasy draft that they do annually and how the relationship of the two played into the game. Funny stuff with Andy having to do his picks over the speaker phone cause of his long travel schedule on the road to get there. The second episode was about PJ appearing on a sports talk show and then doing horribly. The reaction of the guys to it was funny.
Is there a bad song on that Daughtry album? Seriously, every song that I hear pop up on radio or on one of the music channels is good. I am going to have to get it sometime. After not buying any CD’s for a while, I have about 5 or 6 that I would like to buy.
It’s time for another song list. My five songs that I’m liking right now.
Goo Goo Dolls – Before It’s Too Late (If you saw Transformers, this is the love song theme of Sam and Mikaela’s in the movie)
Ashley Tisdale – Good To Me (This is one CATCHY pop song)
JoJo – Anything (This is a song that has samples of Toto’s song Africa. I never was a fan of Africa but I like it remixed into this song.)
Daughtry (With Slash) – What I Want (Slash adds a lot to this song and the mix of him and Daughtry is a good thing.
Eve 6 – Here’s To The Night (Always liked this song and have heard it a lot here lately. Hard to believe it has been about six years since it hit the charts big)
Kevin Garnett traded to the Boston Celtics. Wow, if that doesn’t get the Celtics back in the top portion of the eastern conference, I don’t know what will. Definite good addition to the Celtics and Celtics fans should be very excited.
