Pre Finale Thoughts: And now we start the farewell to Arrow with tonight’s series finale. One hour retrospective to start it. A show that was one of the very few of this genre on this network when it premiered 8 years ago. The CW used to not go with more of this genre of shows cause they were against putting so many shows of this genre on. Almost like they had a max number limit. Now, the CW lineup is filled with shows that have spun off inside the Arrowverse. And with that, we still have the other shows that keeps this universe going. A very talented cast of actors, writers, and crew. This show has had a strong last couple of seasons going out. Tonight, we wait and see how it all plays out. Tonight, we say THANK YOU
Whew, what a finale. The cast posting and watching on Twitter with all of us made it even better. Just no words watching that final segment. My eyes were glued and I was trying to make sure my mind was focusing on every little detail they were giving us. There was so much going on all through this episode. We had laughs. Flashbacks. An incredible action scene that was beyond amazing to watch as they basically said yep, we’re going to show it all off in this scene with what we can do with this crew and production. Cameos. Returns. Mostly a whole lot of heavy heart watching this finish up and these scenes tonight. There were a couple of scenes that took my heavy heart breath a bit. I think they gave something for every fan in this finale. I still want my spinoff from what was basically a pilot episode last week and we need to fight for it. Next thing for this big fandom is that we all need to fight and fight hard to make sure we get that Green Arrow and The Canaries spinoff. That has to happen. Period. Thank you for 8 incredible years!
