One of the awesome guests of the 2023 Superman Celebration was Tyler Hoechlin who plays Superman in the CW’s Superman and Lois series. He was meeting fans and also took part in a panel taking questions. He talked about the importance of playing the role of Superman in the show saying: “My favorite thing is that it has been around for so many years and people still love it and still means so much to them and there’s going to be another one and that’s going to be a whole another generation of it. I think, for me, the coolest thing is it’s just carrying the torch, you know what I mean. I’m just passing it off to the next person and that’ll be soon but it’s just fun to be a part of it. It’s fun to be a part of something that’s so much bigger than you. Just like a small piece of this long legacy and so that’s kind of like a special thing and to see how much it means to people from so many places around the world in different walks of life. I think it’s just really cool to be part of that legacy and upholding those values for this little blip of time so that’s really cool.”
