It’s been a sleep deprived season for Big Brother for all of us live feeders and the finale is now upon us tonight as we wait to see who wins the $750,000 grand prize. We roll into the finale with a final three of Ashley, Morgan, and Vince. All of us live feeders have known the results of the first two parts of the HOH so we’re just kind of sitting and observing here getting the visuals of what we’ve heard about. First part of the final HOH comp is a spinning comp. Ashley was the first to jump off at 28 minutes. That leaves Vince and Morgan. Morgan wins part 1 at the 53 minute mark.
The jury roundtable was hosted by Cody and we now finally get our look at where the jury is sitting on the final three. It seemed like the jury was very open on a winner not really leaning one way or the other. There was the reveal during that where the jury learned that Ashley was a lawyer.
Part 2 of the HOH comp is the one we’ve been waiting to see cause the Vince crash out has been talked about a whole lot on the feeds in the last day. My first thought is how much do the editors throw Vince under the bus with this edit? LOL. This comp is hosted by Frankie. The mastermind does make his first in person appearance to the final three as the comp starts. Ashley vs Vince here. So, the story of this ends up being that Vince gets way ahead but misreads the instructions on how to finish the comp. Ashley also misreads it too originally but she figures it out. Vince was putting the houseguests eliminations by what day they were eliminated on instead of what the instructions said of the “order” they were eliminated. The look on Morgan and Frankie’s face when they realized that Vince had read the instructions wrong was pretty great. Ashley gets the order right and wins part 2. During this comp, Vince is just full crashing out. Also according to Vince on the feeds, he was ahead by 15-20 minutes and blew the lead. After the comp, a very confused Vince is told to read the instructions again and he realizes his mistake. He goes into full meltdown mode of how he doesn’t deserve to win and how terrible he is at the game with him hiding behind the puzzle while Morgan is hugging him. Since this is a Rachel throwback season, it really reminded me of the Rachel and the bush moment. Ashley is seen camera talking to where she talks about needing to just win part three now and that she is going to take out Morgan and instead take Vince to final two.
It’s time for the final part of the HOH competition and we’re now LIVE. Ashley vs Morgan. They will have to watch videos of the jurors giving three statements of game happenings and pick which of the three is the false statement. Ashley dominates the competition and they actually end it early cause she can’t lose cause she’s so far ahead. So, HERE WE GO. We go back to the living room and Ashley makes her decision through tears on who to evict and she evicts Morgan! We have a final two of Ashley and Vince. This game just felt like it opened wide for Ashley. I just did not know if she could beat Morgan with how dominant Morgan has been with comp wins on the back end of this game. Maybe she could have. Vince’s backstabbing of jury members would oversaturate his own comp wins. We get the jury out on the stage and Morgan is revealed to be the final juror to an absolute shock reaction to the rest of them. Jury questioning starts happening and Ashley is absolutely CRUSHING Vince. Just complete destruction. There were two early moments in this that stood out immediately. One is Rachel just up there looking like she’s ready to sob like a proud mom watching Ashley which I loved. Two is the early moment where Vince talks about everything he did being for his own game and they cut to a closeup of Lauren for a reaction shot since it was actually Morgan who wanted Lauren out. Vince kept lying to the jury with things he was responding with and I thought he’s just finishing himself off now cause he’s got to own something. Kelley even at one point laughed at him with things he was saying. I just can’t even express how dominant Ashley was here. Just one of the biggest final two jury questioning beatdowns I’ve ever seen. They do their final speeches and I thought Vince had a good speech to close to at least redeem him a tiny but Ashley had just full eaten him up at this point and you could see where the jury was. Ashley ends up winning on a 6-1 vote getting the votes of Rachel, Kelley, Ava, Lauren, Will, and Keanu. The lone vote for Vince was Morgan. Ashley wins Big Brother 27 and I’m so happy for her to win! Let’s also remember that this was the person who almost got voted out week one due to a long shower and had to win veto to save herself. Then, she battles back and fights her way to the end to win the game! The only thing left was the America’s Favorite Player vote with the top three vote getters being in no particular order Rachel, Keanu, and Will. Keanu wins with 65% of the vote.
So, the mastermind stuff was a line of BB alum tonight. We had the Dr. Will reveal but then he was framed. Then, we find out there are three masterminds. And let me tell you, find you someone that loves you as much as Big Brother loves Jessie. LOL. The mastermind spin is that these were all alums that were ripped off by twists. The next is revealed to be Frankie. The big one for me that I cheered at the screen at was Eric Stein appearing on screen! That was awesome to see him back on the show! I still always will wonder what Eric could have done in a Big Brother game if he was allowed to play the game on his own. Talk about a twist that messes someone up.
So, that’s a wrap for Big Brother 27. I thought this was a very exciting finale and adrenaline rush of waiting to see how this was going to go especially once we saw Ashley take part three. Just a fun, fun season that I really enjoyed. Was the game play good? Absolutely not. LOL. This has been some of the worst game play I’ve ever seen but it’s been fun. I’ve really enjoyed this cast. I’ve lost a ton of sleep. I’ve always had to stay close to my phone for any Big Brother happenings. It’s been an absolute joy having Rachel Reilly back in the BB house this summer and I will always wonder what would have happened if she didn’t get taken out by one of the worst twists in BB history. Geez, bring her in as the 4th mastermind tonight of players messed up by twists. LOL. This season has been messy. It’s been fun. I’ve been very entertained and I’m sad that it’s over. Now I try to get a decent sleep schedule back. Even my night owl self was up later than I normally am. Maybe I can pull my 3-4am shutdown time back to an earlier time. LOL. But sleep deprivation is always a sign of a fun season and for that I’m thankful!
