We’ve had Sophi and Sophie on Survivor 49. Jeff then had Sophi changed to Soph. Well, Soph is Sophi again. Get all that? Did that make sense? LOL. To me, I haven’t jumped on the train of calling her Soph as I’m been defiant on that saying I’m continuing to call her Sophi. This week, we are down to one as Sophi remains while Sophie is gone.
How did it happen? Here we go. We get a little recap of the tribal council of some things not seen and comments made about it. One including Savannah writing Jawan’s name down for a vote while adding this is for stealing my stuff. She’s not letting this go. LOL. Then, we have the weirdest explanation from Rizo on why he did the fake idol thing. So, he says that he was planning on doing the fake idol reveal as a way to make Kristina play her idol. However, Kristina played hers first and he didn’t need to do that after all. But……he decided to do the speech anyway and added that the jury ate it up. Did they????? I’ve got nothing here. Seriously, what was the point in that? I thought he’d have a reason for doing that but he really was just like yeah, I just did it for no reason. I’ve got nothing. Damage control is the next thing as Sophie goes to Sage apologizing to her for lying to her on the vote. Sage isn’t having this though and Sophie is definitely on her target list. Sophi talks about the trio alliance she is in with Rizo and Savannah while adding that she knows she’s at the bottom of that alliance meaning she’ll have to make a move at some point to break that up. She discusses with Sage about doing that but Sage is having trouble trusting Sophi.
We have another journey. A boat arrives with the announcement that someone must go on a journey which will be a “strenuous activity”. Steven knows he’s in trouble so he’s pushing to go hoping he gets any kind of advantage to save himself. He ends up going which Sophie is not happy about. Then, Sophi and Sophie discuss a back up plan on if Steven comes back with an advantage to where they can’t vote him out. The backup plan is to take out Savannah. Steven arrives at the journey and he must complete this task where he can get an advantage but if he doesn’t complete it, he loses his vote. He does win the advantage and it’s a block a vote. He can secretly block a vote but if he decides to play it, he has to decide on playing it and on who before leaving for tribal council. Steven returns to camp and he is open and honest about how it all played out with the journey. He doesn’t tell what he has though. Rizo is convinced that Steven got a steal a vote. The two of them talk privately and Rizo says what he thinks he has to which Steven responds basically with an ok. LOL. Not revealing.
Immunity challenge is next with the stacking blocks challenge with the rope for leverage walking back and forth stacking. Steven rocks through this and wins immunity. He also gets reward of spaghetti. He gets to choose someone to eat with him and he chooses Kristina as a payback of her playing the idol on him. He gets to choose one more and chooses Rizo for the lack of food Rizo has had. The three of them have spaghetti and discuss the vote with Rizo pitching Sophie to go. In the confessionals, Steven is good with it cause he won’t have to play his advantage but Kristina is not having it as she wants Savannah gone. The talk around camp ends up being that Sophie is clearly the target here while Sophie is wanting Savannah gone. The momentum however is all behind a Sophie vote out. At tribal council, Sophie is voted out unanimously with Jawan on the jury openly celebrating watching the revenge on Sophie moment. Next question is does Sophi make a move next week to step away from the trio? Can Steven continue to survive? We’ll find out…..next week…..onnnnnnnn Survivor
