Long day that was still going on as I went to sleep very early this morning. It’s amazing to me that I went to sleep at 4:30 this morning and they were still going strong and then when I wake up, they’re already waking back up. LOL. I don’t know how. Let’s get into what was day five in the BB28 house.
Main happenings. The veto competition was the story of the day. Melody and Barrett were drawn for the veto competition. Melody has been keeping her distance from Mallory a bit since Mallory went on the block. That has been a topic of conversation in the house of that Melody might not be a good ally to have seeing as how she’s reacted to Mallory being on the block. Mallory did win the veto and was of course very excited by it. There was talk that Dr. Will and Howie were featured in the veto comp. The veto win means the talk turned to who the renom would be. Dee and Lyric had a talk in the HOH room where Dee told Lyric that she was safe. Lyric also told Dee that if Dee was worried about Mallory putting Dee on the block that she’d talk to her into not doing so. Devens and Rome talked at the chess board where Rome gave him a bunch of info so Devens got an information download there. Devens was good at collecting info on Survivor too. Rome also tried to spin the showmance with Lyric saying that the reason he was sitting in bed with Lyric was because her voice was weak and he didn’t want her to have to struggle to speak louder. Sure, Jan. LOL. What about the kissing? LOL. Lyric and Rome have been trying to downplay the showmance when talking to others. Taylor was out and about roaming on this day after spending the previous night staying away from everybody after the nominations. She was very social through the day including a long talk with Mallory up in the workout room where they talked game and who they would put up. Mallory was mentioning Dee as someone she would nominat while Taylor was trying to spin things away from Dee being a potential to go up. Barrett brought up an alliance that he called the “red corner” alliance naming Kamu, Chuck, and Haley. At the end of the night, Dee seems to get mostly to committing to Ashley as the renom. There has been push for Melody to go up from some but the feeling is that Melody would likely go home if she was up there so Dee doesn’t want to put Melody up there as she has a different target. The feeling is that Ashley would be a safe renom cause Ashley wouldn’t get voted out. The target so far for the vote appears to be Yosh.
It was team fun feeds in the late night as the groups were split into two. A group upstairs in the HOH and a group out in the backyard. Funny moment when the HOH group saw Jason downstairs in the kitchen. They decided to prank him by forming a straight line of people walking downstairs and walk past him without saying anything. Dee led the line down and when they got to the stairs, Jason was gone. So, they pivoted and decided to just walk by the room. Jason looked up with a puzzled look and then got up getting in line behind them to wherever they were going. It was very funny. They all got a huge laugh out of it. They then took the line outside to the group out there with that group looking completely confused on what was going on but several jumping up into the end of the line. Another moment right after with the juggling mastery of Rick Devens. Hilarious juggling out there watching him do that. He’s been teaching some in the house to do juggling. Juggling and corn hole have been the biggest activities in the backyard other than playing pool. The corn hole games have been very fun to watch. Some really good corn hole players in that house. There was a moment when Dee was talking country music with someone. I can’t remember who it was. I kept waiting to see if she was going to bring up her Zac Brown Survivor experience but she said nothing. Speaking of Survivor, the HOH late night group were talking Survivor with Devens telling his story of his first season to the houseguests that didn’t watch Survivor. This group exercises a lot. The morning was many doing weights and then you had Drew, Lyric, and Melody doing laps across the yard. A very active group. One of the funny lines of the day was talk that Devens had said that when he was pitched the show that they told him he’d have a bed and food unlike Survivor. LOL. Now, we obviously know he’s a have not and has the spinning wheel room.
