Day 13 saw more back and forth over who to use the veto on, a fake breakup plan in place, a lot of flirting, and more.
Melody talks to Devens in the late morning. She talks of not being able to trust Rome anymore seeing that she’s at the bottom of his list. Melody says with the way the game is currently that trying to find people to work with is hard. She said she would put up Jason next week if she was HOH. Devens asks Melody, if I pull you off, what do you see me doing? She said putting up Rome. Melody says she’s mad in the game saying Rome told her he was going to keep her safe and then he didn’t. She says her and Drew talked about it and if Rome is up against either Jason or Lyric, it’s Rome who gets their vote to go. Melody says she won’t put Devens on the block and won’t talk others into putting him on the block if he does remove her. Melody is asked by him if the break up is real. Melody says she can’t get a read on it for sure either. Sunday afternoon is very busy with the live feeds with so many one on one conversations going on at the same time. The feeds were just jumping around from one to another cause there is so much going on. One of those conversations is Dee and Rome talking where Rome says he planted a story to Drew and Jason that he was going to put up the vets to see if it got around and spread back. Dee said she hadn’t heard this story so it hasn’t gotten around. Jason and Devens talked where Jason pushed that he doesn’t have the girls in his corner anymore while also saying he won’t target Devens and will do what he wants him to do. There are really two stories of the day. The first is the fake breakup. Lyric is going around hard selling this fake breakup. She talks to Kamu at one point saying she’s doing what she’s got to do for her game and breaking apart from Rome even though she cares about him. Lyric and Devens talk. She says she wants him to put Rome up in her place saying she doesn’t want to be associated with him anymore. Lyric promises to not put up Devens in return of veto and will work with his people. She says she doesn’t want to work with people that she can’t trust. Devens said he’s aware that once he makes the decision on veto that the house is going to hijack it from there anyway and do what they want to do. Melody and Lyric talk where Lyric says she can’t be around Rome while she is on the block. She says that Rome is going around telling people they are broken up. Besides doing the talking to the crossovers group, Lyric spends the rest of the day HARD flirting with Chuk. She’s doing this to get attention from the house of oh wow, she really is done with Rome. I mean she is glued to Chuk for the afternoon. Haley later in the evening talks to Angela where Haley says Chuk is being treated like “the man” around Lyric. Haley mentions Lyric making nachos for Chuk and Lyric saying no, these are for Chuk. If you watched this on the feeds yesterday, it was sooooo over the top selling this and you’d think they can’t be falling for this, right? They’re falling for it and I can’t believe it. LOL. The crossovers meet later in the day to discuss things. They all agree that both girls (Melody or Lyric) are coming back no matter what happens with veto as the plan is Rome with the second option being Jason for eviction. Drew shares more info to the group saying Melody is on board with getting Rome out and also tells Barrett that Mallory hates Barrett now. Drew leaves. The crossovers continue to be so untrusting of Drew, especially Angela, and talk bad about him often. Angela has been the driver in the should we trust Drew department since the beginning despite him bringing info to them. What it seems to be with Drew is that they want him to bring him info but she doesn’t like the info that he brings them because it isn’t positive. LOL. I’m convinced that they’re going to end up losing Drew which they need Drew cause he’s a lot of their eyes and ears on the other side of the house. Barrett isn’t able to get info over there as much cause they see him as locked in with the crossovers. Dee and Angela are hard pushing wanting the veto used on Lyric. Devens, Drew, and Barrett want the veto used on Melody. So, we’ve spent the day with Lyric hard selling the fake breakup story. All that work. Devens and Rome talk. Rome tells Devens if you take Lyric down and put me up in her place, then we can still work together and forgive what happened. Then, Rome tells Devens that the breakup is fake and he is full in love with Lyric. Devens asks did you tell her to distance herself from you and he says yes. Rome says he’s never felt this way about a girl before. All that work and Rome just says yeah, it’s all fake. LOL. So, what comes from this information. The crossovers seem to want to keep Melody on the block as a way to test Drew and his alliance to them. Drew had also told Devens at one point that he was pretty sure the breakup was fake cause he had talked to Rome the night before and Drew mentioned to him that the best plan for Rome might be to convince people you broke up with her. Drew and Devens talked one more time during the day and Devens says that he’s leaning toward using it on Lyric. Devens says he feels good about the convo with Lyric saying he doesn’t think that girl can lie. Wellllll, apparently she can cause she’s working all of you people. LOL. Drew tells Devens to do what he feels like he needs to do. Toward the end of the night, Rome and Lyric sneak into a room together and full make out after being away from each other all day. Rome says he’ll end up staying cause he says he has the votes to stay and that he made a deal with Devens. As we know, he won’t actually stay unless something dramatically changes. The only way Rome stays is if he wins blockbuster. It does feel like Devens is trying to land himself a fallback plan in case Rome does come back into the house. Devens did talk to Melody again where he said he felt the better move was to use the veto on Lyric where it’s just numbers as he’d have two promising him safety. He says he’s aware they could be lying but it would be worth the risk. Melody does seem to want to work with the crossovers from everything I’ve seen but, I don’t know, this is where we are. LOL.
Other happenings in the house. Barrett talked to Mallory off and on through the day where he was trying to repair that relationship. Haley talks about wanting to put up Lala if she wins HOH. Lala also seems to be getting annoyed more with the Rome thing so it doesn’t appear they are as repaired as it seemed yesterday. Funny moment in the storage room that made me laugh where you are secretly talking and someone you aren’t aligned with walks in making you have to change the subject. Haley and Yash were talking and Haley says “this was me trying to risk my game for you seeing…….(Rome walks in)……if you want to put ham and cheese on it”. I laughed out loud.
Veto ceremony will be Monday afternoon. As of now, Lyric will be taken down and Rome will go up in her place.
