Day 24 in the Big Brother house saw a blockbuster, an eviction, and a new HOH.
The pre episode feeds saw Kamu telling Lyric that he wanted to give her a heads up that Mallory doesn’t have the votes. He says to not tell Mallory that so it doesn’t rattle her for blockbuster. Lyric goes and tells Mallory immediately and that of course panics Mallory. Mallory is crying stressed. Melody gets word as well and Melody is hyping up Mallory a ton that she can win this. The episode itself sees a really entertaining blockbuster competition that goes right to the wire. Jason and Mallory both know they have to win to stay so they are working their brains out to win. Mallory pulls off the win which means Jason is now the one going home. I didn’t know if Jason would make a big boom calling out alliances on the way out or not but he didn’t. He did throw tea bags out. Jason is evicted on a 12-0 vote. As he is leaving the house, Julie holds up her own teapot and is banging it as Jason smiles and laughs. This was a really good interview with Jason that followed. Julie also reveals to him that he was in the top three of the America’s power vote every week.
After the live show, the group is rehashing the week and tonight’s eviction. Devens also talks at one point to Dee saying what he could do with the power. He says if they get a HOH in power that we don’t like then he could make a move and say don’t put me up or I might do something to your HOH that you won’t like. The feeds return and Haley won HOH. Yash was apparently a close second place. Haley and Devens talk and this is the first look at what Haley’s plan is. She tells him that she told Lyric and Yash that they were safe. She says Taylor is her target. She is wanting to nominate Melody, Drew, and Taylor. Devens pushes back saying why put Drew up if he isn’t the target cause that could possibly mess up the toolshed alliance showing him that something is off. She wants to nominate a guy and that is Drew. She also tells Devens that when she gets her HOH room that she is going to tell everyone that if you talked trash on me and messed up my week last week to get out of the room. Dee and Devens talked up in the gym. Devens tells her what Haley’s plans are. They talked of coming up with a code word to say to each other in case Dee wins the power. They talked of Lyric saying she’s only had one alliance in the house and that was the love triangle alliance with Rome and Jason. Lyric talks to Kamu and she is desperate to get into the alliance on the other side of the house. She’s ready to get out of the other side of the house. Kamu says he is going to do what he can to keep her safe this week. She says she can’t be attached to Mallory cause she’s a sinking ship and she can’t fight a fight that she can’t win. Chuk and Haley talked with Chuk saying that Lyric is trying to pull on the guys heartstrings. Haley says she is trying to get with Kamu now. Lyric and Haley talk. Lyrics throws everyone on her side of the house under the bus saying who has been talking about Haley. Haley talks to Mallory telling her that she isn’t a target. Haley also tells Mallory about week one that Melody was saying she didn’t want to be tied to a dead horse with Mallory. Yash and Lyric talk. Lyric says there were only three people willing to vote to keep Mallory and how terrible this alliance is. They’re ready to jump ship. They make a final two. Haley and Melody meet and Haley says she knows Melody has been talking about her being a mean girl. Melody does admit that she was going to put her up if she had won HOH. Haley and Chuk talk near the end of the night. She keeps saying that Taylor was staring at her during the HOH comp. Chuk floats putting up Mallory but Haley says she isn’t doing that. They talk of Yash helping Mallory during the HOH competition. Haley again says that Taylor is her target but Mallory would be a backup threat for her.
Friday will have nominations and also we’ll be looking out to see who has the next power or punishment.
