Day 27 in the Big Brother house was all about replacement nominee talk and a whole lot of backing the bus over people. First off, the episode last night revealed who had the power and it turned out to be Dee. She has the $5000 bribe that she can use for the rest of the season. Everyone’s paranoia on Drew having the power and messing it up turned out to be for nothing. LOL. Interesting that Dee did not tell Devens about the power and that probably threw everyone off including myself.
Main happenings of the day. Lyric vs Mallory. That is the story of the day on who will be the replacement nominee. Barrett clues in Mallory early in the day that Haley is going to come to her to offer a deal to keep her off the block telling her to be prepared. He also reveals that Lyric making deals with everyone has come to light there as well and has annoyed people. He tells her that Kamu has been pushing to save Lyric and that Drew is the target this week. Melody jumped in this convo too and she talks of how she hasn’t liked Lyric since the beginning. Barrett would tell Mallory to not tell Lyric anything info wise cause Lyric is going to use that info against her. Mallory and Lyric later did talk where Mallory didn’t talk of what she had learned. Lyric asked her who she’d put up if she was nominated and she mentioned Lala but Mallory really didn’t give her much of anything else. Mallory and Melody talked later about the upcoming Haley meeting and how to handle it. Mallory was worried about overpromising deals cause Lyric is doing that and it’s made her a full target so she’s trying to figure out how to balance it. Haley does eventually talk to Mallory and the deal is made of if I keep you off the block, you keep me off the block and Mallory agrees. Yash gets word that Lyric is the one going up and he goes immediately to Lyric and gives her the info. Lyric is furious over it saying me and Haley had a deal in the HOH comp to keep me off the block. Haley’s point of view in talking to people is that she promised her initial nomination but it didn’t include a renom. Mallory and Lyric did talk later where Mallory confirmed she made a deal but that is all she gave her not telling her that she’d be the replacement. Haley and Lyric talk where she tells Lyric that she is wanting someone to go up there that can win blockbuster. She’s alluding to Lyric here. LOL. Lyric and Yash talk again and she’s still mad saying they had a deal. Yash is gassing her up to get fired up. Lyric and Kamu talk and Kamu basically says he’s been trying but there is only so much he can do. Kamu tells her to just start throwing people under the bus. From here, Lyric gets in the bus, drives it over Mallory, and backs it over her over and over. Making up things to Chuk that Mallory didn’t even say too. Lyric and Chuk are ready to take this info to Haley first thing in the morning to battle to keep Lyric off the block. Taylor, Kamu, and Haley all talked in the HOH room. Haley and Kamu were wanting more out of Taylor involving Lyric. She talks of week one and two Lyric where she was coming after the red corner group. She didn’t say the words red corner obviously. Taylor also backs up Mallory on the talk of if Mallory had said she was coming after you, why would she not cause you put her up. LOL. It was a good meeting between the three. I feel like Taylor has done a good job of socializing this week and she can do so now without the stress of being on the block since she has the veto.
Other happenings of the day. Angela’s newest paranoia is Yash. The seeds are being planted that this will be future Drew. LOL. The backyard opened back up yesterday to the much joy of the house seeing them getting out exercising and playing games. Production skippy was in a big mood last night giving the Drew, Barrett, Melody, and Mallory group “you are not allowed to talk about production” despite them just talking and speculating on when the backyard would be opened and closed.
Monday will be the veto ceremony where Taylor will take herself off the block and we’ll get a replacement of Lyric or Mallory where it looks likely that it will be Lyric.
