Friday was day 39 in the Big Brother house and it was a wild nomination day with plenty going on in there.
Main happening of the day. We started hot right from wake up as Lala and Haley are having a conversation. Lala apologizes to Haley and she accepts but says that Lala bullied her all week. The term bully did not go well at all with Lala and the two started exchanging words with one another. Haley said that Lala was bullying people into isolating Haley not wanting people to talk to her and then got mad at the people if they did talk to her. Lala called Haley a passive aggressive bully. Angela was also there standing awkward. LOL. She would input herself every so often backing up someone with if the opinion of a happening was right. Devens roamed in awkwardly brushing his teeth and getting ready for his day trying to slide in and out. He would later do retells of this moment that were very funny where he was reenacting his actions of trying to get in and out while also telling how funny it was with Angela just standing there awkwardly while her friends argue and then starting to say something of “welllllll”. LOL. The argument goes into the kitchen at one point before it finally ends. One thing Haley said to Lala was that the house was apologizing to her for Lala’s actions all week. Lala then decided to roam the house apologizing to everyone including waking some up to apologize. Mallory had a face of wait, what’s going on? LOL. She apologized if she was bullying and everyone agreed that she wasn’t. Dee met with Yash and she threw Drew’s name out when discussing nominations. Yash talked to Devens saying his plan was to target icons but that it wouldn’t be him. Devens did at one point tell Yash that putting up Dee might mess up their Wolfpack alliance as he said that when Dee was on Survivor that if you burned her, she was done with you. So, Devens tried to use that as a way to try and keep Dee off the block. Devens filled in Dee on the fact that she is most likely going up and they tried to figure out a plan on how to avoid it. They talk of maybe using the bribe on Yash. Dee said she’ll try and use her $5000 bribe power on Yash and see if he’ll let her control all the nominations and then work her way down if need be with negotiations to at the least to keep herself off the block. They talked too of the diamond power of veto with Devens saying that maybe he could talk Yash into putting him up instead of Dee as a pawn. He could use the diamond power of veto on himself that way instead of using it on Dee. If he uses it on Dee, it full exposes how close they are aligned. So, he’d rather get on the block and use it on himself and not expose them. Angela talks to Yash and Yash basically tells her she is going on the block and she doesn’t get upset about it but goes the opposite route of “I get it” in response. One thing that also grabs attention more than anything in the convo is them talking about the Haley and Lala feud. Angela has been staying in the middle but in this convo, she says her heart is with Lala. That becomes an off and on topic of conversation through the day that Angela said that where it felt like she picked a side saying that. Yash has a meeting with Haley where Haley says she understands if he has to put her up while continuing how rough a time she’s had all season. Yash talks to Kamu giving him the rundown of his meetings. They form a formal final two. They talk about that they think Dee and Devens are silently working together. Yash talks of Barrett being a replacement nom cause he’s close to the vets and they think he was the one that leaked the Lala meeting info to the vets. Yash talks to Drew where he tells Drew that Dee mentioned his name earlier for a nomination suggestion.
Next we get the reveal of the next time capsule vote getter. Oh no! We see Melody in the Lord of the Latrine costume. I face palmed. I said these girls cannot catch a break. America is even trying to give them powers and they can’t win them as her and Mallory missed two weeks in a row with punishments instead. RealityBBQ @rbbq on Twitter said FAP is the Bad News Bears of Big Brother. I laughed shaking my head saying that’s really a good take on them. LOL. We keep wanting them to get something rolling for them in the game and they just can’t get it no matter what they do. Melody begins her punishment where she’ll announce people going to the bathroom for the next 24 hours. The door is locked so they have to come and get her to unlock it. Then, she announces who is going and what they’re going for. She really rocked this thing all day owning it and having fun with it. Lots of funny moments. There was one moment on the feeds where there was a serious game talk going on in the kitchen between Angela and Taylor. You see the bathroom in the background and you hear the comedy of Melody screaming announcing someone. I said yep, this is peak Big Brother. Never change. LOL. We didn’t see this on the feeds but Dee offered Yash the bribe and he turned it down. We learn this as she is telling Kamu and then she tells Devens. She said Yash turned down everything she offered him. Devens said well, he could go and offer himself up again but he said there really is no point if he wouldn’t take $5000 to not put Dee up. Devens talks to Yash soon after just getting updates on what Yash was going to do. Devens did a great job of baiting Yash on a switch topic to powers to see if Yash would say anything on what Dee did or not. Yash did take the bait and told Devens. We didn’t hear the whole conversation as the feeds cut away.
Nominations happened. It is Haley, Dee, and Angela on the block. Dee spends a bunch of the rest of the night crying over the turn of events. She does camera talk at one point saying that the perfect scenario for her would be if Angela won veto and took herself off and then Devens used his DPOV on her and then all the icons are off the block. She would then want to call a house meeting and expose some people’s games. Taylor told Haley that she wasn’t the target this week. Taylor also talks to Mallory about wanting to make an alliance with her. Taylor then goes up to talk to Yash again where they talk about wanting to work with Mallory. Taylor is talking about wanting Barrett gone with her saying that Barrett and Drew are Devens “minions”. Kamu, Yash, and Drew all talk late in the night. Yash talks of him being annoyed if Devens won and used the veto on Dee saying that would put a major strain on their relationship if he did that. Drew took the info from this meeting back to Devens and told him that Kamu is going after Dee.
Other happenings of the day. The non game stuff mostly focused on Melody and her day. It was fun stuff. One moment where Mallory was helping Melody do the trumpet better as Mallory had played instruments in school. Melody then blasted that trumpet right after. LOL. Mallory was also selling tickets for the upcoming train ride that she said will be this weekend. I think she mentioned Sunday night as the likely time.
Saturday will be the veto competition. There is a lot of speculation that it will be OTEV. That is my guess too just based on how long the yard has been closed this week.
