Day 42 in the Big Brother house saw a big expected shuffle for the week.
Main happenings of the day. We were all on feeds watch for the day waiting to see how everything happens with the fallout of the power being used. The veto ceremony took place. Yash did not use his veto. Devens did use his diamond power of veto. He took Dee off the block and replaced Dee with Kamu. When the feeds returned, we saw Dee with the veto around her neck. We really expected there to be chaos as there had been talk of Dee calling out Kamu and his game. When the feeds returned, it was really calm and just mostly people going to separate parts of the house lightly joking of well, that was pretty crazy. Yash is talking to FAP in the storage room where he isn’t mega upset with the move by Devens saying that was a great move but he’s saying to FAP, ok, we keep Kamu. The calm post ceremony is the fact that that side of the house with Kamu, Taylor, Yash, and Lala don’t see this as a massive strike against them. They think they’ve got FAP and that there isn’t even an option of Kamu going home. They just see it as Devens wanting to make a big move and take Dee down off the block. Drew, Mallory, and Melody talk of how happy they are that they made that alliance with the icons before that happened. Mallory is also thrilled to have Kamu up on the block as she doesn’t like Kamu and wants to take him out of the game. She tells Taylor later that they really ought to take the shot at Kamu while he’s up on the block with how strong of a player he is. Taylor doesn’t push back on it much with her telling Mallory that what she’s saying does make sense. Dee and Kamu talk pretty fast after the veto ceremony with Kamu asking what happened to us. The two of them just basically lie to each other for the next however many minutes. Kamu goes back to throwing Haley full under the bus blaming her for everything. He’s went from throwing her under the bus to riding with her on the bus again to throwing her back under the bus and backing over her. The icons meet in the bathroom and have a big celebration cheering. Devens wanted to make sure Angela was good with everything and Angela was happy. Kamu talked to Mallory later where he revealed the red corner alliance to her from the early game and said he’s now going after the icons. He’s trying but the problem is that Mallory just doesn’t like him and wants him out. Kamu talked to Haley where he filled her in on his conversation with Dee and the things said about Haley and such. As Kamu walked away, Haley said that Kamu can’t keep his mouth shut. Drew camera talked for a while with a lot of silly in it. He did drop some solid info on where he is in the game at this point where he said “FAP over icons” meaning he’s going to pick FAP over the icons as we get further along. Makes full sense too.
Other happenings of the day. Angela’s birthday. They do a birthday celebration for her. Birthday cake. They do a talent show in the backyard with the houseguests doing random things. Skippy blocked whatever Devens did so I assume they are saving that for Unlocked or another episode. Angela gave a motivational speech of you can do anything you want to with your life no matter what age you are. The whole night really meant a lot to Angela.
Today was not the fireworks that we expected as they didn’t go full power on what they had been teasing with the calling out and such. Again, we also didn’t see a lot of fireworks too because of how safe Kamu feels right now. That group thinks they are completely solid. They don’t know that Kamu is going home if he doesn’t win blockbuster. The plan for Thursday is to vote out Kamu. If he wins blockbuster, they vote out Haley.
