I’ve got another Big Brother 7 video that James has put up on his site. The caption that he has put with the video is this was why the feeds were always blocked when they were singing. Pretty funny.

I finally got to watch the Reese Witherspoon movie, Just Like Heaven. It was on HBO and this week was as good of a time as any to watch it. I really liked it. A guy moves into a new apartment. Only problem is that he isn’t alone. There is a spirit there played by Reese Witherspoon who says that the apartment is hers and wants him out. They both find out more on who she is and why she is thereā¦.or isn’t there. I recommend watching it.
Hey, I forgot that Buffy and Angel came on at 6am. Then again, I’m never awake at 6am unlike this week. Kind of odd that they are both on at the same time. It seems like I just spent most of the hour flipping back and forth between the two instead of committing to watching one of them.
The Breakup came out on DVD this week starring Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn. I’m looking forward to checking out this movie.
I watched the pilot episode of 30 Rock. I thought it was ok but like The Class, I want to watch a few more episodes before I decide on whether to stick with it.
Here is a shocker. The first season of Saturday Night Live is going to be released in a box set. It will be an 8 disc set. 26 hours of stuff on the set. There is also supposed to be a limited edition photo book that will be included. No word on music performances though on whether they will be included or not. Retail price of the set is $69.98.
I am hearing that CBS is doing an all star version of The Amazing Race. This will be for season 11 which is said to begin taping next month.
NBC is going to move Friday Night Lights to Monday night for one night on October 30th to try and draw new viewers. It will follow Heroes and be in the Studio 60 time slot. Studio 60 will get a week off that week.
Interesting statistic this week that I saw on TV about the new one hour dramas. Ratings are showing that people are tuning out during some of these shows too. The ratings are lower during the second half hour than the first half hour.
I have to say that I was annoyed with how ABC had been promoting Sara Evans’ announcement of leaving Dancing With The Stars. They promoted saying stuff like “you’ve heard the rumors” and pondering if she is leaving. Well, yeah. She announced last week that she was leaving!! We already know that so there are no rumors. She isn’t announcing that she is leaving, she announcED it.
I watched some more episodes of The Class. I’m still kind of up in the air about it. I thought episodes three and four were better than the first couple of episodes. I’m just still not sold on it.
The CW canceled the new show Runaway.
NBC made some big news yesterday announcing major cuts to save money. They are no longer going to air scripted shows at the 7pm hour instead going with reality and game shows which are cheaper to make. Many job cuts are coming too.
It will be St. Louis vs. Detroit in the World Series which begins this weekend.
In the Ask Ausiello column where he takes questions and answers, he was asked again about the alternate ending to American Dreams that has never aired. He said that there were negotiations between TV Guide.com, NBC, and executive producer Jonathan Prince about showing the finale on TV Guide.com. He says that the talks have stalled and it isn’t likely to happen due to “a bunch of bureaucratic bull crap”. He said the idea isn’t completely shut down but it isn’t likely. UGH!!!!
Joss Whedon’s movie, Serenity, based off of the TV series Firefly, has been released on HD-DVD. It has been for a while but just thought I’d pass the info along. From what I read, it was also the first HD-DVD to be released from Universal Studios Home Entertainment. If you are a fan of Whedon’s stuff, you’ll like this movie. I found myself hooked really quickly on Firefly and the movie is a great payoff for it. Definitely check it out.
Tower Records is closing all its stores so if you have one near you, you might want to go see if any of the closing sale prices are worth your while. Be careful about buying though cause even with the discount, people are saying that they can still get stuff cheaper elsewhere. It’s kind of like the Suncoast closing sale as everything was still cheaper elsewhere with the Suncoast closing discount percentage. Anyway, check Tower and see if you might find any deals there.

You Tube Video Of The Week: I’m not sure why I thought this was funny but for some reason it is. What does the Easter Bunny do for the other part of the year?
