Survivor 50 Gives Teardrops On Charlie’s Guitar

admin March 26, 2026

The merge is here on Survivor 50. Well, sort of. That’s next week. Tonight, we had two tribes going to tribal council, past Survivor trauma continuing to play out, and a bunch of Taylor Swift references. I’m ready to get into it and recap tonight’s episode.

We start the episode back at Vatu after the Mike White blindside and a very upset Ozzy who was not happy he was left out of the vote. Christian and Stephenie are giving their side to Ozzy saying they didn’t want to tell him so he’d have to lie to Mike. Stephenie says in a confessional that she didn’t tell Ozzy cause she didn’t want him to mess up the vote. With the confessional that we got from Ozzy, he wouldn’t have lied to Mike. Ozzy said he would have told Mike and blew their game up so they probably made the right call there on not telling Ozzy that Mike White move. LOL. We get more Survivor trauma showing Ozzy when Cochran previously left him out of a vote blindsiding him. Christian says in his confessional that he didn’t realize he had hit an open wound on Ozzy with this from his past. We move on to Day 10 with Ozzy and Christian talking about the night before with Ozzy apologizing saying the old Ozzy came out last night. Ozzy and Stephenie get back on the same page talking. We move over to Cila where the talk is about the original Kalo sticking together in this tribe but Jonathan wanting to add in Devens. Jonathan starts pitching Rizo to go. He talks to Dee and Charlie too who agree on this too. However, Dee has other plans as she talks to Rizo hoping to find an alliance. She pitches to work with him to which he is all for it with him saying he’s not a “guy’s guy” and instead likes working with women pointing out how he worked with women in Survivor 49. Rizo tells Dee about being given the boomerang idol which builds more trust between the two of them. Moving over to Kalo. It’s the Coach show. Coach is now calling himself the Tide Walker for his nickname of the season. He gives nicknames to Colby and Joe for more male bonding. Aubry is looking to build an alliance and she goes to Coach hoping to work with him. He talks of how he’s now ready to pull Aubry in as well into his group.

Day 11 starts with Cila. Charlie is still upset over the revelation of Rizo not voting for his number one in the end. Again, Survivor trauma over what happened to Charlie previously. Charlie wakes up Rizo first thing at dawn to ask him how many people he had told the boomerang info to and Rizo fesses up on Dee cause he was afraid he might get caught on that later so he chose to be honest about it. Charlie says he talked to Jonathan and Jonathan was acting like he knew about it which wasn’t true. Rizo is seeing through this and now targets Charlie calling it Operation Bad Blood playing off of Charlie’s Taylor Swift fandom. Rizo talks to Dee telling her that he wants Charlie out and Dee is in for it. Rizo’s next play to make this operation work is for him to go to Cirie and see if he can get her on his side too. He pitches that he wants it to be him, her, Dee, and Kamilla in a group. Cirie is open to the suggestion. That gets us to the immunity challenge with the twist of that only the tribe that finishes first will be safe which means that the bottom two will both go to tribal council. Colby sits out in this challenge for Kalo saying that he hurt his foot in the previous challenge and it still wasn’t better yet. It makes me wonder if we see more of that in play in the future cause that was info that really didn’t play out a lot in this episode other than just the announcement of why he was sitting out. People sit out all the time without a reason so it was interesting they gave us a Colby confessional on why. One big star of the challenge is Tiffany who does the bag untying like I’ve never seen before. Just awesome! Joe has a back and forth day struggling in the beginning but ends up being the one to seal the win for Kalo with the bags. That means Cila will go to tribal and Vatu goes back to tribal once again.

Post immunity challenge, we start back at Cila. Rizo says in confessional that he’s good with going to tribal cause he wants to get rid of Charlie. Rizo continues to try to get his alliance in play as the last person for him to talk to is Kamilla. He makes up a story that when Kyle left the game, Kyle’s last words to him as his number one was to go work with Kamilla and tell her to work with you. Kamilla is listening but in the confessional, she’s not buying saying that the story doesn’t make sense to her but she’s going to play along for now. He does tell her about the boomerang idol too trying to throw some trust bonding out there with info. Charlie talks to Kamilla afterwards as he is wanting to get her on board to get rid of Rizo. He also tells Kamilla about the boomerang idol to which Kamilla acts surprised on the info. She says in the confessional that Charlie was too slow on getting her the info on that. Back at Vatu, Christian wants Angelina out. Christian, Emily, Stephenie, and Ozzy all agree on the easy vote of Angelina. Angelina is told by Emily and Christian that Stephenie is the plan to vote out. Ozzy and Christian talk to get back on the same page. Ozzy asks for a trust moment of wanting Christian to give him his shot in the dark in a sign of trust. Once Ozzy walks away, Christian is like what is with this guy???? LOL. Ozzy talks to Emily saying that he wants to play the game with her but not play the game with her AND Christian. He pitches Christian to Emily on who to target. He also pitches this to Angelina. Emily takes the Ozzy info back to Christian saying Ozzy is wanting to target him. Christian decides he’d better give Ozzy his shot in the dark and does to build some trust and do damage control with Ozzy. Back at Cila, Rizo tells Cirie about the boomerang idol. Cirie says in her confessional that she’s old school and doesn’t share info but does she decided to balance out and give Rizo info back that she has the extra vote. Rizo is looking really arrogant here hyping up himself and his play on his season to the point that it looks like it’s getting on people’s nerves. All eyes on Kamilla here as she is the swing vote on who decides who goes home between Rizo and Charlie.

On to tribal council and Vatu goes first. But first, Jeff does random standup comedy of cast impersonations. The rest of the tribal council is talk of trust which is the theme of this tribal. The easy vote does happen for the tribe as Angelina is voted out 4-1. The lone vote for Stephenie is from Angelina. As Angelina is hugging Stephenie, she asks if you were the vote for me and she laughs saying yeah. Good move by Stephenie there to where she doesn’t have to stress over that unknowing. Fun moment on the way out as Angelina asks to do one more thing and leaves her blanket for them with the throwback to her previous season. Cila’s tribal council is up next. Rizo is still in happy bragging mode and we’re getting a lot of edit cuts over to Kamilla for her reactions. Jeff points out that no one knows Rizo’s game because it hasn’t aired yet for the others to see. Rizo points out how others that have played back to back seasons have done very well. I’m thinking he is sinking himself even further here. All my attention is on Kamilla from me and she really studied on that line from him. Charlie says the line of “sometimes you make yourself the hero of your own story” with how people can talk about themselves sometimes. We get to the vote. Rizo throws out a lyric with his vote. Charlie throws out a redemption line of not being able to get past Rizo not voting for his number one to win. The votes start to be revealed and we know it’s most likely going to be 4-3 here. Charlie, Devens, and Jonathan vote out Rizo. Rizo, Dee, and Cirie vote for Charlie. Kamilla votes……..Charlie out to make it 4-3. I was shocked as I really thought Kamilla was going to tire of Rizo and send him out. On the way out, Charlie of course says a Taylor Swift line of “teardrops on my guitar, Jeff”. Next week…..merge! Not only a merge but a 17 PERSON MERGE??? That’s going to be a large camp.

Thoughts on the episode. Fun episode! I liked the twist of the bottom two going to tribal and it’s not surprising that they did that cause we have so many people there so they have to slim it down some. The Cila tribal was very entertaining but I really felt like that edit was leaning into an arrogant Rizo going home. I probably should have realized that the edit was too obvious. LOL. I’m curious to see how the Rizo, Dee, Cirie, and Kamilla alliance works but I feel like Kamilla may end that thing really quick. Colby’s whole episode was a random injury news and getting a nickname from Coach. LOL. We really didn’t get much of Angelina on this season with TV time so it’s surprising to see her go so soon. How will the Christian, Emily, Ozzy, Stephenie dynamic play with a merge? Will the alpha males get targeted quick with the trio of Coach, Colby, and Joe? I assume Jonathan leans back into them as well. Merge next week. 17 of them! LOL.
