Night one completed last night of live feeds. Well, early this morning for a few that were up into the very early morning house in the house. Night one of feeds but day four of Big Brother 28. It was actually an earlier night than I expected as most of the house started going to sleep early for a Big Brother cast. Solid first night of feeds. Getting to know the cast. Learning the dynamics. Feeds went live at 8pm central time right after Unlocked finished.
The main happenings of the night. Nominations happened earlier in the day from Dee. The nominations were Taylor, Mallory, and Yash. Dee was telling people that her noms were choosing one person from each team. Is that true? Who knows? Dee may tell us on the show that she had different reasoning and that’s just what she’s telling the house. Yash from the house consensus of opinion said that he was taking the nomination very well. Mallory had her struggles off and on including tears at one point. She got a good pep talk from Angela. We did see Melody distance herself a bit from Mallory with Mallory being on the block. Lyric, Mallory, and Melody seem to be a group which is fitting considering how many of us have picked up on that it’s like casting cast another Lauren, Kelley, and Kat. LOL. Taylor spent the majority of the night sleeping alone in her room not taking nominations well so we didn’t see a whole lot of her on feeds. Have nots for the week are Devens, Haley, Drew, Chuk, and Taylor. The have not room is probably one of the more brutal ones with beds that will slowly spin around.
Other happenings. Melody and Ashley had a good convo where Melody said that she feels like she doesn’t have an alliance anywhere and that she feels like there is a big alliance that she isn’t a part of. She was looking to hopefully pair up with Ashley and build an alliance somewhere. First showmance of the season. Lyric and Rome. Early with the feeds, I said well, they look very comfy with one another and seem to be hanging out a lot with just the two of them. I didn’t see it when it actually happened but later across Twitter comes an update of a kiss between the two of them. My first thing I said out loud was “IT’S DAY 4!!!” LOL! Later, they were hanging out together in bed while the others in the room slept. Another twist on this whole thing is that it appears that Haley is into Rome as well. She said something along the lines of that she’s annoyed that Lyric got to Rome before she could. So, not only do we have a showmance but we have a love triangle on DAY 4. Speaking of Haley, her and Rome talked to Dee up in the HOH room for a bit. When Dee left, the two of them stayed talking up there which raised some flags. I thought Angela had a very good night socially. The houseguests seem to like her. Several are really happy to see her in there. She was good at forming bonds with people off the bat and she had the good encouraging convo with Mallory that I already mentioned. Angela said too that she would keep coming back to her with new encouraging stuff to keep her up. She was bouncing around to groups. Speaking of groups, I really enjoyed the last of the night where we had groups hanging out just talking and telling stories. There wasn’t a ton of game talk late in the night. At this point, it was just life talking and telling stories. Melody said that it felt like an old school sleepover where it’s just people hanging out in a room telling stories. Good building type convo here with the houseguests getting a feel of one another. Jason seems to be blending in well. I’ve enjoyed him on feeds. Kamu and Drew have an awkwardness. Kamu would enter a room and then Drew would follow him in with Kamu calling him out saying you follow me everywhere while jabbing at him playfully and saying I’m just kidding. You can tell however that he isn’t kidding but he uses that as a way to say what he means while saying I’m just playing. People seem to like Drew from what I’ve seen on feeds. Not much backyard for the houseguests real late in the night. Everyone was mostly inside. Earlier in the night, several played corn hole which always makes me want to play corn hole. LOL. Some goofing around with juggling outside. There was a group talking about the days of My Space and explaining it to the younger ones in there. It flashed me back to my My Space days where a lot of what I used it for was keeping up with Big Brother and Survivor people. LOL. They were explaining the Top 8 Friends and how that would wreck friendships now if that was still a thing. Devens seems to be fitting in really well. He bounced around with groups taking part in convos.
