Day 29 in the Big Brother house saw a vote flip attempt and a master class from Dee.
Main happenings of the day. More Lyric fallout as Melody and Mallory talk in the early part of the day about how annoyed they were with Lyric and her crying yesterday. I had wondered how that was playing with them once they got to themselves and it was a whole lot of ranting about she’s crying to us for sympathy after throwing us under the bus. With Lyric, she and Yash are talking in the early parts of the day where he is doing his hype thing on her once again to get her to go against the red corner. Yash talks to Dee afterwards where he is talking about how close him and Lyric are. Dee is going to be the talk of the day from here on out. Dee decides that she’s thinking about flipping the vote and keeping Drew. She pitches this to Devens. Dee says that one thing that will help them is that people will keep wanting to put Drew on the block from here anyway so he stays a target. Devens does listen to her convo but is kind of iffy on things. Dee goes to Angela from here and pitches it to her saying he’d be going after the red corner anyway instead of us. Angela is big on the well, the thing with Drew is that we know his game and know what he does. We don’t know what is going on with the other side of the house but we know what we have in him and what he does so he’d be safer. They do talk about not wanting to push this too hard and mess up their alliance with the red corner doing something they don’t want to do. Dee is basically in a we have to get them on the same page too with it. Angela says she is doing a sleepover with Haley soon and that she could pitch it there to Haley. Dee says to wait on the hard push to keep Drew and they’ll hard push it on Thursday last minute. However, she wants to plant the seeds of it. Devens does join this talk later on and they start to get him on board with it. Devens is basically in ‘I’m bored and let’s have some fun just to see if we can do it’ mode. LOL. I think Dee and Devens get bored with the slow pace of Big Brother and choose chaos sometimes. LOL. They all have a talk of let’s go over the pros and cons of this thing. They say we could just take him off the board completely cause he knows so much of our game. Devens is big on that if they don’t take out Drew, take out Melody as long as they separate one of that duo. Devens also says that we basically talked the red corner into putting up Drew and now we’re going to try and talk them into saving Drew. LOL. The end of the meeting has them backing off and tabling it while saying let’s just vote out Drew but we’ll keep talking. The meeting breaks up. Dee isn’t done with this though. Dee and Lyric talk for a very long time about the game and life. Dee tells her that Kamu and Haley were pitching for Lyric to go home. Dee tells her that you should tell them that you are coming for me when you make your case. Lyric says she can’t do that and Dee says no, absolutely do it and it’s completely ok. Dee does tell her that the rest of the game info that she told her, do not share or she’ll be mad. As I was watching this, it felt like Dee was using this as a test to see what Lyric does with this info and see what she shared gets around. It might turn around and get Lyric evicted if she finds Lyric sharing too much. Lyric and Mallory talk not long after this and now Lyric is full throwing Yash under the bus and backing over him now. LOL. She says she doesn’t trust Yash with Kamu and Haley which is a lot of the info she got from Dee. Dee goes to work later when the red corner all meets except for Kamu. Dee has always said that with Haley, you just have to make something think that it is her idea and she’ll fun with it. She says that with Kamu too. That is what Dee does here. Dee very smoothly plants her save Drew plan. She talks of how Melody is more dangerous than Drew in the game and why. Vote out Melody and then Drew has no one so he’ll have to stay with our side. She gets Haley talking on it and she starts hyping the plan and then Dee responds gassing up Haley saying you are so smart at all this. And boom, they are on board with keeping Drew. LOL. The plan is now if it’s Melody vs Drew on the block, Melody goes home. The meeting breaks up. Dee and Devens laugh downstairs about how easy that was and how easy they are to manipulate into doing what they want to do. Upstairs, Kamu and Haley have a conversation where Haley says Dee is cool but Dee never has any game ideas. Her and Kamu say they are the only ones that throw out game ideas and Dee just agrees with what they want to do. It could not have been more perfect with Haley saying this right after Dee had just landed a master class on her. LOL. Dee did later tell Barrett that the plan now is to keep Drew.
Other happenings of the day. Fun moments with jump scares going on. Devens hiding jumping out and scaring Haley and Lala in the have not room. Dee doing it to Barrett and Chuk. Then, Devens finishing it off scaring Kamu. Melody and Drew did their nightly late night hangout talking game and life. Dee and Barrett also had a long talk talking life and post Big Brother and Survivor with what it will be like with going back into normal life. The houseguests are having big cabin fever being stuck in the house. They played games first thing in the morning in the kitchen.
Today is typically waffle Wednesday where the votes waffle back and forth. This set up this week feels like a perfect textbook waffle Wednesday but we’ll see.
