Day 63 in the Big Brother house was veto ceremony day.
Main happenings of the day. Again, it was the veto ceremony. No drama expected with the veto being used as we all know Yash isn’t using that veto. We knew it. The vets knew it. The house knew it. So, it’s just pomp and circumstance. Now there was some pomp and circumstance that didn’t happen that was originally planned. The vets had their speeches where they were planning on doing some roasting and it sounds like they did roast Barrett. However, the rest of the house had a plan the night before of that they were going to do oven mitts on their hands to talk like puppets while the vets gave their veto speeches. Drew ultimately decided in the morning hours that he didn’t think it was a good idea to do and told Melody. With Drew out, the plan fell apart so they didn’t do it. Melody was not happy at all about Drew backing out on it as she really wanted to do it. Drew later did tell the vets about the oven mitts plan and how it ended up not happening. He also said how Melody was annoyed it didn’t happen. The veto ceremony takes place and Yash does not use it. Yash and Melody talk later in the day about the ceasefire agreement but that Drew is on the outside of that group. They see it more as Yash, Melody, Taylor, and Barrett. Taylor talked to Melody about the all girls thing that Dee pitched seeing what Melody thought about it. Melody says that the last time she got pitched on something from Dee that Mallory went home the next week so it’s hard to trust anything pitched with it. The feeds went down during the evening as the houseguests got a Labor Day party. When the feeds returned, we had camera talking from Barrett where he was talking about how he got roughed up at the veto ceremony. He said he lost three friends this week and said that if Melody or Drew doesn’t win HOH next week that he’s in trouble. Barrett again talks about how he still doesn’t believe the bribe power covering all three. Drew camera talks in another place where he says the opposite where he tends to believe that the bribe deal covers all three. Drew says that he can’t really trust anyone and that no one trusts him either. He also wants Yash out so there are clearly cracks on both sides of that ceasefire which involve Drew and Yash who want to take out each other. Yash and Barrett also talk of how the group is the four of them with Drew more on the outside. What about the Melody, Drew, Barrett stuff? Well, first thing in the morning, Barrett and Drew are walking doing laps and Drew asks him if he had a crush on Mallory. Barrett said he thought it was pretty obvious that he had a crush on Mallory but he didn’t feel like Mallory felt the same way. Drew questioning that felt like a so you’re into Mallory and not Melody, RIGHT? LOL. Melody and Drew do flirt a bunch in the hot tub and such after the Labor Day party. They talk late into the night once again.
