Day 66 in the Big Brother house was the day that one of the icons would be going home. Which one though?
Main happenings of the day. We had Yash and Taylor continuing to tell Devens that he was good as they were telling him that in case he won blockbuster and came back. They were planning to vote him out if he was up there. Barrett finally made his way downstairs as he had planned on talking to Dee to try and smooth that over a bit. They had a conversation with a tearful Dee. We also got a final moment with the icons all gathered together in the bedroom that they’ve hung out in all season together. A big group hug for their final moment and talk of how much fun they’ve had working together. We get to the eviction episode and the all important blockbuster. Devens wins the blockbuster which leaves Angela and Dee on the block. We know here unless something changes last minute that Dee is going to stay. She gives a last minute speech of that she’s going after Barrett and Drew if she stays. The first ones to vote are Melody and Drew who vote out Dee. Then, comes the next votes of Devens, Taylor, and Yash who vote out Angela. 3-2 vote as Angela is voted out of the Big Brother house. Just quite the incredible moment with Dee saying in the house after it looked like she was completely done. It looked like at least that her or Devens would be done. The fact that she spun this so hard this week to where Angela is the one that went instead of either of them in INCREDIBLE. She worked her tail off this week and it paid off. Not the result that Barrett was hoping for obviously. He probably also shouldn’t have just stayed up in the HOH room not socializing all week as you know how things can change in this house so fast. Dee and Devens put in the work and stayed while he isolated just assuming everyone would stick to the plan. You have to check in with this game constantly. Post veto, Melody and Drew are dealing with the shock of that they were on the wrong side of the vote. Drew says at one point asking is it normal in this house for people to not come up to you prior and ask who you’re voting for? He’s basically saying nobody ever asks him and he didn’t know if this was normal. LOL. Melody does her thing finding her room to go rant over everything saying how do we end up keeping both Survivors when they were on the block this week??!! She also said why didn’t they tell me what the vote was going to be cause she would have jumped on board with it and been fine. She talks of how one of the last things Mallory told her before leaving was don’t trust Yash. Speaking of Yash, him and Taylor are talking of how they’re going to spin this to Melody of why they changed the vote and why they didn’t tell her. The plan is to just blame it on Drew and say he was going to break up the ceasefire. Barrett and Melody talk over how bad everything went for their game. The feeds go down and when they return at 11:40 BB time, Yash is the new HOH. Oh boy! LOL. Well, that’s a team fun feeds win with knowing who he can’t put up and that Barrett is going to get confirmed what he kept saying was a lie and it’s that Yash can’t up the icons. Apparently after the HOH comp, Dee yelled “that $5000 just paid up!”. LOL. Barrett spends a lot of the rest of the night laying face down not moving in his bed looking like he just got knocked out. One funny visual during the night is him laying there like that while Dee is walking around him unpacking. Drew and Dee talk where he says he’s still not coming after her. He asks her what happened with Yash and Taylor on how they voted to keep her. Dee says, I’m not telling you, you voted me out. LOL. Dee tells Drew that she’d vote for him if he got to the end with how much work he puts in on a daily basis. Dee talks later of how she feels bad for Barrett but that she warned him. She also feels bad with Angela going out so fast with not feeling like she got a proper goodbye. Taylor and Melody talk with Taylor explaining the vote saying Drew was talking about putting her and Yash up so it blew up the ceasefire. Melody responds with a I’m so mad at Drew. Taylor says they weren’t sitting near each other so she didn’t get a chance to tell Melody about the vote.
Other happenings. So, here is where we are with the nominations. We know Yash can’t up the icons so that leaves his only nominee possibilities as Drew, Barrett, Melody, and Taylor. He’s not putting up Taylor obviously so it will be the other three. The veto is the interesting thing cause if Taylor wins veto and used it, does that break the bribe cause it’s the only option? Then, he has to put up an icon cause it’s his only option? BB will have to explain that stipulation if we get there as there is no other option. With the veto, Julie promoted a “pressure cooker competition” but the footage shown was of the sword competition. That’s not the actual pressure cooker. The pressure cooker is also usually a HOH competition and it’s on the feeds. So, are they trying to do a sword competition and calling it a pressure cooker? The pressure cooker is always on the feeds too but again, it’s always a HOH competition. We rarely ever see veto competitions on the feeds. Does Big Brother let us watch the veto competition? If they do a “pressure cooker” style comp and don’t show it on the feeds, what’s the point? There will be quite the fan backlash this week if that comp is blocked on the feeds. The have nots are in play again for the week. Drew has his never not pass. Barrett and Devens are the have hots for the week which will be awkward roommates.
