Day 70 in the Big Brother house.
Main happenings of the day. The veto ceremony took place and Drew used the veto on himself as expected. Yash’s renom was Taylor. This now means that the bribe is officially done. Taylor is assured by many that she is going to be safe. The target continues to be Barrett. If he loses blockbuster, the target will go toward Melody. Dee and Devens talk in the backyard where they are very happy with where they are in the game but are hoping that Barrett loses the blockbuster on Thursday. They discuss on whether they target Yash next to get out a big threat. Dee and Devens say if they win HOH and Barrett stays that they would put up Barrett and Drew with Barrett as the target. They also say that Drew and Yash are going to keep targeting one another which would help them. Barrett continues to have his plan of telling Dee and Devens that he’d be good with them while telling the rest of the house that he’s going to target Dee and Devens. His plan if he wins HOH is to put up Dee and Devens with Yash as the renom. Barrett continues to isolate himself away from the house. The rest of the house is outside laughing and having fun conversations. Devens walks in the house to find Barrett to invite him outside with the rest of them. Barrett doesn’t move though but smiles thanking him for the invite. Devens returns a few minutes later with some slop chips for him to eat continuing to try and uplift him. Barrett tells him that he thinks he ruined his relationships last week and that it’s worn on him. Devens tells him that isn’t true and it was a big game move but that they are all going to be friends after this. Barrett retreats to the have not room where he cries alone for a bit. Drew and Devens both come into the room talking to him and trying to lift his spirits. Drew tells Devens afterwards that Barrett has been like this but that it’s worse the last couple of days. It also appears that Big Brother hasn’t given Barrett back some of his laundry yet from when he was HOH so that is not helping the mood either. Melody and Drew did their normal flirting but it seems like it’s at a higher level today and this week in general. At the end of the night, Drew and Yash meet up in the bathroom talking and laughing about how everyone is believing that they are clashing over how the veto competition ended.
That is really about it for the house. Things are slowing down as we near the final stretch in there.
