Day 78 in the Big Brother house and with the results of the veto competition, we are setting up for one of the most fascinating end games that we’ve had in a very long time with these final four.
The veto competition took place and the winner of the comp was Drew. That means that either Dee or Devens will go this week and Drew will be the one to decide it. Wow! Afterwards, Drew does Melody’s gimmick where he picks up the phone she would use to call her mom. He pretends he has called Melody and talks to her saying he did it and won the veto. He says he wishes he had done it the previous week so she’d still be there. He finishes the phone call saying how tough it’s going to be but he knows what she wants him to do but doesn’t know if he can do it. This is to cut Devens which will also be what a lot of the jury will want to see as well. So many in there seeing Drew as “daddy Devens” with whatever Devens wants. If Drew was to cut Devens, that would be massive in the jury’s eyes. But that is one massive emotional move if he had to do it cause it really is a father/son dynamic with those two. Taylor camera talks not long after saying that she thinks Drew needs to cut Devens and that it would win him the game. Dee camera talks where she talks of her plan of how she’ll try to pitch Drew. She’s wanting to push the logical decision against the emotional decision of who Drew needs to have next to him saying that Devens wins if he gets to the end. Devens camera talks where he is super disappointed in himself in not winning the veto comp and that this is all now out of his hands. He says that the one bright side is that now he wouldn’t have to turn on Dee potentially. He talks of that he’ll pitch how they’ve always talked of going to the end together and now they get to. He also wants to shake Drew a bit of that if Drew doesn’t take him, he wouldn’t get his vote to win but wants to obviously say it in a nice way for leverage. He adds that it might not be true that he wouldn’t vote for him in the end but he wants him to think that. Drew and Dee talk where they laugh recapping a lot of the stories of the season. Light fun conversation. Dee does ask him if he has somewhere he’s leaning with a decision and he says not really. Taylor and Dee talk where they are locked for a final two and wants Drew to take out Devens saying it’s the best move for Drew. They talk about talking to Drew about it separately but want to make sure they are making separate arguments where it doesn’t look like they planned to push on him the same exact pitch. They spend a lot of time upstairs to where it’s being noticed downstairs. Devens and Drew talk where they say they’re spending a lot of time up there together. Devens says they’re taking each other and I’m taking you.
Wednesday will be big pitches going on at Drew with Dee and Devens trying to stay in the game.
