So let’s talk about this since it’s now finally aired cause the Big Brother community and alum have been united in anger like I’ve never seen before since we learned what happened a few days ago. I have never seen a show that is so bad about sabotaging themselves. The producers constantly do this introducing unnecessary twists into the game that full stops the game and tanks it. It was like a much worse zombie twist. Just let the game play out. You just introduced a twist that took out the person you revolved your whole season around. A show you get voted out on. This isn’t Reindeer Games. This isn’t The Challenge. This is supposed to be Big Brother. Where you get voted out. And the season has FLAT LINED on the live feeds. Morale is destroyed. In the house, they’re talking about why even bother trying to social strategize and get votes cause they can’t win comps. The whole house has been trashing the show saying “I signed up to play Big Brother, not The Challenge”. They know it’s all about comps. There is NOTHING going on on the feeds. They’ve basically just quit playing currently cause it’s all about the comps. And for this to happen to Rachel Reilly of all people. The legend. Just heartwrenching. We were setting up for a very fun end game and all the storylines revolved around Rachel. It’s like having your main character just taken out of a show midway with no pay off for no reason. I’ve heard the one comparison of this is like when a HOH puts up an ally on the block and the ally goes home. You don’t risk your ally on the block. Big Brother gambled on a twist and they got their worst case scenario and now they’ve tanked the season. How did we learn about this as live feeders? So, Thursday night, the live feeds don’t come back and we assume ok, maybe they’re doing the split house twist or Janky World style cause there were rumors of that. We start hearing rumors of a comp eliminating someone. First thing people say is, wait, are they doing the Reindeer Games wheel comp????!!! We wake up Friday morning. Still no feeds. Then they start pushing Big Brother Unlocked to watch that for more on the comp and that feeds will return after west coast airs of that. That angered all of us who said now you’re blocking feeds to get us to watch this extra show. So the community pushed a boycott on that show and then from what I understand, they didn’t even give fans info on it anyway other than a graphic that promised a “surprise elimination”. Not eviction. An elimination. Ok, so they weren’t voted out??? Then they announce feeds will go back live at 11:00 after Unlocked west coast airs. During the day, Hamsterwatch who has connections in production was getting word that “we’re not going to like what we see when feeds return”. We immediately say wait, is Rachel gone???!!! And we’re assuming Rachel is gone. The feeds come back and the house is normal. No split house. No nothing. They’re in the backyard hanging out. We keep looking to see who we see. And we say…..Rachel is gone. And Twitter just erupts. There has been talk that they were holding feeds from coming back because they weren’t expecting this result and weren’t ready to figure out how to accept the backlash. Next, Brendon posts that he got a call from production while he was at Chuck E Cheese with his kids. He said when he saw production on his phone and picked up, he figured she had been taken out. He was told “she had been eliminated and was in jury”. So that confirmed everything. So, Rachel is out. Everyone else has had multiple chances to save themselves from eviction. Veto. Blockbuster. She was never nominated. Fought her brains out all season. Played the best game I’ve ever seen her play. She wasn’t put up. She didn’t get to compete for veto. She didn’t get to play blockbuster. She didn’t get to work for votes to stay. She’s just gone. And we’re never going to get to see if she could have pulled this off and become a two time winner.
