Day 8 in the Big Brother house. We had a birthday party, have nots coming to a close, Angela’s paranoia, a new spy shack moment, vote scrambling, and two alliances seemingly coming together.
Main happenings of the day. Angela’s paranoia ruled the day as she continued her paranoia that Drew wasn’t with her and the crossovers while also her paranoia going about groups forming. Angela hasn’t been buying the story from Drew that Jason was targeting the vets and also fake crying to Angela. Jason did lie to Angela on this day that anyone had said anything about targeting the vets. However, Barrett said he overheard Jason bragging about lying to Angela at one point. Later in the day, Angela, Dee, Barrett, and Drew talked about the possibility of keeping Ashley. They genuinely like Ashley and also it would be a number to have against the other side of the house. Ashley has mostly been floating without a group so they made a move to talk to her and feel it out. The group brings Ashley and they all talk. Angela roamed off after a while to move about the house. She later comes back with only Dee and Barrett sitting there. Angela starts questioning them on what new info Drew had to which he didn’t really have much. This makes Angela paranoid more to which I said watching, you don’t believe the info he has given you. LOL. This convo keeps going where Angela asks about where Drew went for a little bit to which Dee and Barrett look completely confused of he was here the whole time. Angela says he got up and walked off and came back. Where did he go? Dee and Barrett have no idea what she is talking about and the looks and reactions are incredible. Dee laughs saying “I feel like I’m trying to be gaslit right now unintentionally” and Angela settles down on her paranoia. Dee and Barrett say Drew is just doing what we told him to do and what all of our plans is and that is to go out and spread talking to others. Later, Barrett told a great retell of this paranoid gaslit moment to Devens who got a big laugh out of it. The next level of paranoia of Angela was in the HOH room with Dee. Angela has been concerned about people holding secret group meetings in the gym. Angela sees Drew on the HOH screen walking away from the gym. She’s saying see, Drew! Angela tells her theory on this secret group meetings in the gym and then gets Dee involved. They stare at the screen making it feel like a spy shack moment from Survivor getting all excited about who they see coming from that area saying oh, that could be a group and saying they’re leaving one by one. Then BB cuts the camera to inside the gym and there is nobody there which was a pretty funny moment from production. Later in the day, the crossovers do pull Ashley in. Dee, Angela, and Drew all talk to Ashley outside and they’ve seemingly solidified something with her and Drew goes into full pump up mode of getting Ashley motivated to win this blockbuster comp on Thursday to make sure she saves herself. Ashley said this is one of the best motivational speeches I’ve ever gotten. You can see Angela’s wheels turning of ok, I think Drew is ok with us. Yes, he is. LOL. Barrett had said at one point to Devens that Drew is literally doing what we told him to do with what the plan is. He said he’s talked to Drew a bunch and Drew is so excited about all of this with working with them. Devens has been doing work roaming the house talking to people and playing up that no one is coming to him talking votes or alliances so he plays up being excited when someone comes to him. It’s been working really well with people too. He’s been talking to Rome, Kamu, and also Lyric at one point. Dee talked to Kamu late in the night about the vote. They talked about the story floating around that Lala and Rome are trying to form a group which is Angela’s paranoia story. LOL. Dee and Kamu discuss working together to target the other side so we have a crossovers and red corner alliance coming together against the other side. Lyric and Mallory had multiple conversations through the day about their struggles of knowing who to trust in the game.
Other happenings of the day. Lala’s birthday was yesterday and the houseguests did a birthday celebration for her. At one point. Chuk and Devens at different times went over to Lala on the hammock just telling her how much they love her and appreciate her hoping that she is feeling that from everyone in the house. When they walked away, Lala was crying happy tears saying she did feel loved and appreciated. She absolutely loved her birthday in there and it was great to see everyone love on her for her birthday. The have nots ended at midnight with a big meal being cooked. Devens was loving getting to eat a real meal and having a real bed. Drew was a bundle of energy with everyone noticing a different side to him since he’s eaten. He said you may hate this Drew and if you don’t like this Drew, I guess you know how to get rid of it. LOL. Lyric gave her bed up to Taylor so she’d have a real bed to sleep in coming off have not. Lyric bunked up with Mallory but was later up in Rome’s bed hanging out. The houseguests were getting really slaphappy when I was going to sleep around 2am BB time. Kamu and Drew excited about hanging out fixing popcorn and that they wanted to build a fort and talk life. They were playing up basically being kids. LOL. They pitched this all to Melody and it was very funny. Drew told Dee that Haley was planning on staying up in the HOH last night with her and Dee was like wait, WHAT? LOL. Dee wanted the room to herself and as you remember she doesn’t like Haley. LOL. I don’t know how that turned out as I went on to sleep but I was saying well, that’s not going to fly with Dee. In camera talk yesterday, Dee talked red corner alliance saying she doesn’t like Haley but does like Kamu. Haley told Kamu that Jason was talking about putting him on the block. That got things going more on backlash on Jason on the other side of the house. Jason continues to mess up his game being sloppy sharing too much info. More cornhole games which I enjoy watching. Or bags at they call them. Is this a geographical thing on why some call it bags and some call it corn hole? I genuinely don’t know the answer to that. The chess area is finally becoming a hang out spot slowly. That high traffic spot has been avoided quite a bit this year. Last season, that was where so many hung out and it was non stop chess. Well, every season that is a big hang out spot. Dee sat there yesterday for what may have been the first time saying I really like this spot. Funny moment to start the day when Taylor was carrying the champagne glasses in the kitchen early in the morning by herself in the dark and then dropped them. Big crash. Then, BB turned the lights on and she took off for the bathroom ranting at BB saying don’t turn the lights on, why are you turning the lights on? LOL! It was a very funny moment.
So, where does the vote stand? Well, I’m not sure. When Ashley went up for noms, she was going up as a safe nom. She then looked like the one possibly going and now there is a push to save her. As of now, I still think it’s Yash who goes as the first option. From there, it’s up for debate. Dee did say that she plans on keeping Taylor if the vote ends up in a tie as she made that promise and plans to hold it.
