Yesterday was Day 10 in the Big Brother house. It was also the first eviction night of the season. As far as the earlier day live feeds, there really wasn’t much of anything going on. Mostly just talk of people saying I want to win this HOH so bad and also working out. The episode itself saw the blockbuster take place with Yash vs Ashley vs Taylor. Yash pulled out the win saving himself. That leaves Ashley and Taylor on the block. The vote ended up being a unanimous 14-0 vote. Ashley becomes the first houseguests in Big Brother history to get that many votes on a unanimous vote. Her interview with Julie was pretty awkward trying to explain what happened to her game this week. The houseguest got the time capsule twist announced to them. Fan vote for six weeks and the same person can’t win more than one week. The fan vote winner will get put in a game where if they win, they win a power from the past of Big Brother. If they lose, they get a disadvantage from the past of Big Brother.
After they promoted that the live feeds would be live immediately after every episode including for three hours on You Tube, we…….had no feeds for hours. On the You Tube feed, it just showed the adoptable animals just like we see on the feeds. I can see the non feeders checking out the You Tube link for the first time and saying…..why are we just watching animals? Big Brother is really one of the worst I’ve ever seen about promoting something and then not delivering and often times just not caring that they aren’t delivering while shrugging their shoulders. The feeds were down till after 10pm BB time. When the feeds returned, we found out that Rick Devens is the new HOH! At just before 12:30 BB time, Devens got his HOH room reveal. The houseguests roamed upstairs with him. He didn’t read his HOH letter out loud cause he said he’d get too emotional. The houseguests cleared out and he decided to do some meetings tonight.
Devens meets up with Lala first. Not a lot of game talk out of this meeting other than Lala suggesting Haley as a nomination but Devens saying he can’t put Haley up cause he made a deal with her in the HOH competition. He did tell Lala that his plan for the meetings is to just basically listen to what everyone has to say.
Angela was going to be meeting number two but she was in the DR so he took whoever wanted to go next and Kamu walked in the room. Light meeting with them. Devens tells Kamu that he wants it to be a group input. Devens doesn’t want to put up Yash or Taylor since they were up last week. Kamu talks of how he doesn’t like how Melody was throwing his name out saying that would be an easy name to nominate. Devens said that would be a no brainer target for him. Devens says he is going to protect Rome and knows Rome is going to want to protect Lyric. He tells Kamu that everyone he puts up will be on the other side of the house.
Meeting three is with Rome. Rome reveals the four seasons alliance to Devens and offers numbers to him if he keeps them all safe. Rome says he wants to bring Devens into their alliance. Devens talks about Melody with things she did in the HOH where Melody wanted Devens out of the comp. Devens tells Rome he made a deal with Haley. Rome says he thinks Drew has a little crush on Melody. Devens asks about Lyric saying he’s given her more opportunity than anyone to give him info on anything in the game and she never gives it. Rome says Lyric told him that she thought Devens was aligned with Haley and others making her not trusting of saying info. Devens says he doesn’t want to see Lyric go. Rome says if you put Lyric and Melody both up that the girls are going to see that as an attack on them. Rome says he doesn’t care if Melody goes up but he would care if Lyric went up. Devens says unfortunately it’s all your people who have talked the least amount of game with me. Rome says he knows Devens is in a very tough spot with nominations and that the move is probably to pick equally from all groups. Rome says you could put himself on the block but that if he’s up there, people might see him as a move to take out. Rome says if it is me, Lyric, and Jason avoiding the block, you’re fine with me. Devens says he could probably do that but it would mean others in his group might have to go up and Rome says he can live with that. Devens says if I keep them off the block, will you keep me and someone else off the block later down the line and Rome says yes, that’s doable. Rome says his number one target to send home is Chuk.
Meeting four is with Dee. They do a victory celebration first thing dancing around. LOL. Dee says Kamu told her that Devens and Haley have a deal. Devens says he tried to throw the HOH to Haley but Haley didn’t win. Devens tells Dee what Rome said about the four seasons alliance which Dee knew about. He also reveals that Rome offered him a spot in to which Dee laughs about. Devens talks about how Melody was working against him in the HOH comp. He tells of Rome saying don’t put himself, Lyric, or Jason and that he would reciprocate protection on him and one other person. They talk on the Chuk thing saying well, we’re keeping Chuk then since that’s who he wants out the most. Dee wasn’t for putting Mallory up until she heard that Mallory is publicly against her so she said you can put Mallory up. LOL. Dee says you have to do what you want to do and Devens it’s do what we have to do. Dee tells him to milk everything and get info and see what he can get out of people. They say that they want to meet up again after all this.
Meeting five is with Yash. Devens says he wants to pull Yash closer to him. Yash says if you don’t put me up, he’s more than happy to work with Devens. Devens says he likes Yash a lot and doesn’t want to put him up anyway. Devens reveals the Haley deal to Yash. Devens feels out Yash’s positioning with his own allies and who he’s closer to. Devens hopes that if he takes care of Yash this week that Yash will help protect him when one of Yash’s allies get in power and Yash is good with that.
Meeting six is with Haley. He tells Haley that he’s telling everybody that they have a deal and she isn’t an option. Devens tells her that Lala floated her as an option. Haley says she doesn’t trust Melody. Devens talks again of how Melody acted toward him in the HOH comp. Haley suggests putting up Melody. Devens says getting Melody out is where he’s at and then fill the other seats with people that wouldn’t ruffle feathers.
Meeting seven is with Angela. They immediately go into a dance celebration. LOL. Angela says do not give info to Drew and knowledge of anything. Angela doesn’t trust him again. She says she trusts Devens and Dee. Angela says she talked to Dee and revealed the Rome stuff. Angela says if she had gotten HOH, she would’ve backdoored Rome. She says you need to get Rome out now cause he has half the house. Angela says she talked to Dee about the backdoor Rome plan and Dee loved it. Angela says please don’t put Mallory up and let her go through this again like last week. Devens is warming up quickly to a backdoor Rome plan from Angela. He tells Angela that he wants to meet with Dee and her again tonight to talk about this plan. Devens says he’d rather go home playing big than playing safe.
Meeting eight is with Chuk. Chuk asks if Deven is getting pulled by people who haven’t talked game with him before and Devens says oh yes. Devens talks of the HOH competition moment with Melody to Chuk. Devens says Melody is the target but it’s game on war with the other end of the house and he’s so excited about it. Chuk is loving this talk too.
Meeting nine is with Mallory. He thanks her for talking to him yesterday. He told her to not tell anyone but he isn’t putting her up. Mallory says she really isn’t a priority to “a lot of people” and that she’d love to work together. She says she knows she was going home if she hadn’t won the veto. He reveals he made a deal with Haley. Mallory says I would have too if I was in your position. He tells her that she can tell people that he doesn’t want to put people up that were up in week one. Good convo.
Meeting ten is Melody. Melody goes into a very generic pitch of I love this game and I’m here to play and saying I don’t know where we stand in the game. She says she can be a number for Devens if need be. Devens says these meetings are him just basically listening to people and really gives her nothing. Devens says he was without a dance partner tonight and she finishes it saying and I would love to be a dance partner. That is ironic of a line considering what his story of his interaction with Melody was in the HOH comp where she was looking to sink him.
Ok, so this is at 2:30am BB time and this night is still going strong. Downstairs, Angela and Dee are talking about the backdoor Rome plan. Dee originally pushes back on it saying Rome can get the votes. Angela says no and Dee says well, I like war, let’s go to war. LOL. Meeting eleven is Lyric. Lyric says she wouldn’t put up Devens if she won HOH and talking of how she’s close to Rome. He says Rome looks out for you. Lyric says she’s happy to have Rome but she’s also a strong girl and can take care of herself.
Meeting twelve is Jason. Jason tells Devens if he has a target that he’ll help him with the target. Jason says he doesn’t have a big alliance but has a few people he’s close to.
Meeting thirteen is Barrett. Devens pitches his plans to just shake the game up huge and Barrett loves the idea. Devens says he puts up Lyric, Jason, and Melody and then backdoor Rome. Devens says he’s going to wait till last minute to tell Drew.
Meeting fourteen is Taylor. He tells her that he’s not putting her up and he doesn’t like it when it’s the same people that keep going up every week. She’s happy with all this saying that’s all she wanted to hear and says just tell me who to vote for and I’ll do it.
Meeting fifteen is Drew. He originally tells Drew that Melody will be the target. He says Rome told him everything that Devens had said to him earlier. Drew is good with a Rome plan. Later in the night, they get the whole group up there with Dee, Barrett, Angela, and Drew along with the red corner group. Devens reveals his plan is to put up Jason, Lyric, and Melody and then backdoor Rome. They talk of a line of “this may be Big Brother but it’s felt like two tribes since the beginning” for nominations which they all cheer and make noise on with a mic drop feel. Devens says he’s going to out what Rome told him to do of who was ok and not ok to put up on the block. Rome is awake when some of this is going on and he got stirred when Dee was trying to wake up Barrett in the room. Rome notices who is up in HOH and who isn’t. Rome realizes this isn’t looking good for them. Rome says I’m just going to go up and say I couldn’t’ sleep. He goes up and rings the doorbell with the HOH group pausing quiet saying what do we do? They just all stay quiet and don’t answer the door. They move to the bathroom portion of the HOH room where they can talk louder. Drew pitches a name of the Toolshed alliance. The reasoning is they are all tools for different things and then take out the other side. At the end of the night, Jason and Rome talk. Jason says he wasn’t going to reveal the secret but since things are going crazy with the game now, he reveals to Rome that he was on Drag Race. That secret in the game is now out. They also seem to think Drew is with them.
Needless to say, today’s Big Brother live feeds are going to be very interesting. I’m sleep deprived and tired but let’s go. LOL. We’ll see if the plan goes through and the fallout from it. Devens is going full chaos Rick Devens.
