Day 53 in the Big Brother house was a whole lot of nothing for us as live feeders as the live feeds continued to be off. However, Day 54. We got a surprise as the live feeds returned at 7pm central time last night a day earlier than previously announced.

Main happenings. So, there was a whole lot to catch up on with what has transpired since the Medieval game twist of Thursday night post eviction. HamsterWatch had reported that she had heard that Haley had been eliminated from the game. Never doubt HamsterWatch as the feeds come back and indeed Haley’s picture is greyed out on the board. Apparently, the competition was an elimination style game of sorts where you pair people up. I’m not going to go into the details cause it’s all just what we’re piecing together from houseguests conversations talking through the night and I’ll probably get it wrong with details. Yash may have been the deciding one to eliminate Haley from what I’ve pieced together. From there, it’s trying to figure out the current state of the game. We see everyone in their costumes which makes us think the veto competition just happened but then we hear talk of that they’re actually waiting for it to start. We learn that Drew is the HOH. He put up Yash, Lala, and Taylor on the block. Zingbot also had made an appearance. The icons are talking in the backyard of what if one of the nominees wins veto, who should go up? Angela and Dee both say it isn’t going to be them wanting to go up. The feeds go back down for the veto competition and then are back very soon after. The veto took place and was won by Yash. According to Devens, it sounds like it was so fast because Yash just dominated it. Taylor asks Melody if she thinks Drew will put up Angela but Melody says he likes Angela too much to put her up on the block. There may be some heat to this too as I’ve heard rumblings in there of during that elimination comp that apparently Drew picked Angela in a part that put Melody in jeopardy. Again, I need to see this on TV so I’m not getting info wrong. We are also fuzzy on details because Big Brother keeps getting on to them when they try to talk to each other about it clearly not wanting us to know more about it until it airs. They also say that they’ve been instructed this. They were also aware that the feeds had been down until last night. Dee and Angela do try to work Drew a bit to see if he’d put up Melody as a replacement. Apparently, zingbot zinged him on that Melody was playing him? So, they’re feeding into that a bit. Upstairs, Devens, Drew, and Barrett all talk about the renom. Devens has volunteered himself for the block and there is rumblings that he may have done it as well right after Drew won HOH. Drew is afraid to put up Melody fearing that the votes would be there to take her out. Drew “jokes” about putting Barrett up with Devens and Drew both saying that everyone loves him too much to vote him out. From what I’ve gathered, Barrett is still working against Drew in this game so their dynamic will be interesting to follow over the next days. I don’t think Drew knows that Barrett is working against him but again we’re playing catchup and we need DR’s to confirm these things. Barrett does tell Drew later that putting up Devens would look better to the other side of the house that he isn’t so attached to him. Melody and Drew have been rocky since Thursday but are seen together again talking late into the night with their norm. Drew tells her that he thinks he’ll lose against all the vets at the end to which Melody tells him he should have considered that sooner. They rehashed over the Mallory vote and the current state of the game.

So, the renom is interesting here cause it kind of gives power to one side or the other. If Devens goes up, the numbers are on the other side to do what they want. If say Melody went up, it gives power to the icons side. This renom is very important here on what Drew does so Sunday will be interesting to follow to see if there is a push against Devens going up. If Devens goes up, there is a very high chance he could go home so volunteering for it is clearly not great. Could Drew put up Melody? The bigger question is could he put up Barrett? Barrett is still working big against Drew now so putting Barrett up wouldn’t be a bad thing for Drew it seems.
