Quiet Sunday for the most part in the house with Day 55. First off, let’s talk about that hot mess of an episode last night. LOL. Well, we clearly got our answer on why the live feeds came back suddenly out of nowhere on Saturday night with an hour’s notice. They cliffhangered the medieval comp stretching it into Wednesday’s episode. As the episode was going on, I looked at the clock and saw 20 minutes till and said to myself, is this a 90 minute episode tonight and I forgot??? It’s not?? How are they going to finish this in 20 minutes??? The answer, they’re not. I love that on Saturday night that they’re like hey, we’ve heard you and we’re going to do something good for you. No, it had nothing to do with us. LOL. You couldn’t do what you wanted to do with cramming this into an episode and decided to turn the feeds on instead of leaving them off till potentially Wednesday after you promoted they’d back on Sunday night. Haley was originally scheduled to be doing exit press on Monday from the reports of many outlets and it was announced last night that it was being pushed back to Thursday. Basically, Big Brother overhyped this thing and had a plan. They couldn’t execute said plan and are now going to stretch this one competition over six days of in between episode time. Almost the FULL Big Brother week is going to include this ONE NIGHT that hasn’t been very exciting anyway. This show. LOL. Also, is it me or was this hard to follow with the rules of it? At one point, I had to rewind and listen to some of the rules being read again cause it’s these people are safe, these are not, you can make people safe but only if you have this, and these people send these people back out if they have this. It was very all over the place. Just give us Big Brother. A HOH, a nomination, a veto, and an eviction. They do show 1000 and pay tribute to the show and then give us something that isn’t Big Brother at all and they hype a big show with a twist that they can’t even deliver in one night like they said. This show really is their own worst enemy at times.
Back to the feeds. Main happenings of the day. The renom talk is the only real thing going on in the house. Who will be the renom? It appears that it will be Devens who volunteered and is continuing to volunteer to go up. The problem is that there is a very high likelihood that Devens goes home if he doesn’t win blockbuster. The crossovers don’t seem to realize that Barrett is against them now. Devens feels very confident in Drew and Barrett that he’s good with going on the block and has the votes to stay. It’s an easy nomination for Drew too cause otherwise he has to put up Melody or Barrett. He has said he’s not putting up Melody. Drew during the night does camera talk about how it would easy to put up Dee if he has to pick an icon with him saying that Dee really hasn’t talked to him much this week. The thing that does keep being talked about and is mentioned to all the icons and crossovers is the threat of if one of you blindside, none of us will vote for you if you make final two. Devens said it in his jokingly but serious tone. This was basically said at Barrett. It does appear that Devens is going to go up and he’s definitely in trouble cause I fully think Barrett will make his move here to go against the crossovers.
Other happenings of the day. They finally did the halfway party for the houseguests with the feeds shut off for a bit last night. They also played and had fun in the pool when the feeds returned.
