Day 60 in the Big Brother house was a wild non stop ride with the icons battling to stay off the block.
We started the day knowing where Barrett’s noms were going to be. It was going to be the three icons up first and then Yash as a renom if one of the icons wins veto. Barrett starts his day doing meetings and he says to the cameras that it’s time for the breakup meaning the crossovers is over. Devens is the first to talk to Barrett and Barrett alludes to that he wasn’t happy last week about the mistrust in the group toward him and that he didn’t like that feeling calling it disappointing. He basically casually starts dropping that Angela and Dee are going to be a target for him without naming them. Devens says he sees where he’s going and asks if he’s good himself to which Barrett downplays Devens being in trouble. Devens leaves and camera talks. He says he’d prefer to just stay away from everyone today while all this chaos is going on and just let it play out. He says that it makes sense what Barrett is doing for his game and that he can’t hate it. Dee walks into the HOH room to talk to Barrett and immediately gives a half joking “am I good?” to Barrett and he says I think you’re good. Narrator: she’s not good. You can see Dee in motion of that she’s knowing she’s got to get going to make sure they are safe. She reveals the full details of the bribe to Barrett. Previously, he was told about it just being Yash. She tells about it being to keep all the icons off the block from a Yash HOH. He’s puzzled saying how can a power be that powerful and what were the limits of how many people you could have put on that. She says she doesn’t know about that but she knows that Yash can’t put them up. She also drops some more info on him that Devens was lying when he acted like he hadn’t been previously told about the bribe in front of Barrett. Dee is in full mode to do whatever it takes to keep herself off the block. Dee pushes heavy for him to put up Yash. After Dee leaves, Barrett and Drew talk and Barrett reveals the full details of the bribe that Dee just told him. Here is the kicker and will be for the rest of the day. He says he doesn’t know if Dee is lying about this. Drew says the same thing. Now, we know and a Big Brother super fan should know that you aren’t allowed to lie about a power so the fact that Barrett and Drew are both picking to not believe Dee is kind of wild. Drew pushes to put up Angela, Dee, and Yash. He is trying to keep Devens off the block. Drew pushes that Devens was battling to keep Barrett off the block last week with him. Drew also talks about not wanting to see Angela go but he’s good with Dee going adding that she is the one of the three icons that he doesn’t trust at all. Barrett also reveals to Drew about Dee saying Devens faked not knowing about the bribe. Barrett is concerned that Devens would win the veto and take Dee down. Drew leaves as Angela arrives. Angela comes in there all rainbows and sunshine of this is so great, I feel so good, you won, crossovers won, crossovers for the win, greatest alliance ever. I’m exaggerating on the last one but she’s coming in with a pep rally type speech is her plan. LOL. She’s hyping him with I’m voting for you to win, etc. At the end, Angela says would you want to meet with all of us as a five and discuss it all? He says yeah, we can do that……if we have time. Narrator: he doesn’t want to find time. Angela leaves and Barrett laughs to the camera saying she’s so funny and she clearly knows something is up. Angela goes downstairs to talk to Dee about how it went. Angela mentions about how she asked if we could meet as a five and he said maybe later. Dee laughed saying “maybe later. That’s a no”. Dee read that perfectly on what that meant. LOL. Angela starts to thaw here with getting fired up talking to Dee about how annoyed she is with a whole bunch of things including Devens cause she’s seeing the guys as a three. Devens is out in the hammock later where Angela roams out there. He asks casually “how did your chat go?” and this just seems to set her off on why wouldn’t it go well cause we’re all on the same page, right? Devens is all confused of I was just asking cause we all always check on each other. LOL. It was a really bizarre exchange and Devens later saying to himself, what was that? LOL. They eventually separate with the two of them going to separate spots just talking out loud about how they can’t stand the other one basically. LOL. Devens talks about missing Christian and Emily from Survivor saying he could actually have conversations with them. Devens talks to Barrett again asking him honestly what he is thinking about doing. Barrett gives him the honest answer of all three icons or two icons and Yash. Devens does ask if there is anything he can do to keep himself off the block. Meanwhile Angela is still crashing out. She goes and talks to Barrett where he does tell her that she is possibly going up. She starts crying saying I just didn’t expect this from you. Angela walks back outside telling Dee that he’s putting all three of them up. Dee doesn’t give the reaction that an angry Angela was probably looking for as Dee says “it’s a good game move for Barrett”. LOL. While Angela rants, Dee continues to talk the other direction of that’s actually smart for them, we knew this was coming, they can’t go to the end with us. Dee and Devens talk about how things are looking for them and they decide to make one more big throw of anything and decide to go up to the HOH room and tell Barrett the full details of the bribe while Yash is in the room to put some heat on Yash and expose him. They tell Angela they are going up there if she wants to join so she follows. The icons all go into the HOH room where it isn’t just Yash but everyone except Taylor. Taylor does join probably like a minute into it so we now have the full house in the room. The icons talk about the full bribe of that the three icons can’t be put up by Yash. Barrett knows this info already from Dee earlier but pretends this is his first time hearing it. They push that if Yash wins HOH, his only options are the rest of the house. Yash denies it. He says he made the deal about Dee but that the other two wasn’t binding. The icons go into full you’re lying mode as they mention how the person with powers isn’t allowed to lie about a power you have but point out that Yash is allowed to lie himself. Yash is not backing down on that saying this is a “coordinated lie”. Devens also throws Yash under about the Taylor vote saying he was trying to keep Lala and vote out Taylor yesterday. He denies that which gets a full reaction out of the icons and especially also Drew saying you are full lying on that. Barrett gets called to the DR for nominations and everyone laughs with a well, I guess that’s it type laugh. LOL. Everyone leaves but Taylor and Yash. Taylor quizzes him some more and Yash is doubling and tripling down on his lie about the bribe. Taylor doesn’t seem to be buying and the two sit there quietly awkwardly for a very long time. She eventually gets up and leaves. The icons talk to Melody alone in the hammock where they are still talking about the bribe and how Dee isn’t allowed to lie about this. Melody tells them that she believes them. Feeds go down for the nomination ceremony.
The feeds return as the ceremony is getting close to wrapping up. Yash and Angela are exchanging words about Yash lying. The noms are indeed the three icons as Angela, Dee, and Devens are on the block. The mood is mostly light afterwards but Angela is still fuming. She does apologize for how she acted during the meeting. Devens talks out loud playing pool saying I’m beginning to think I would have been voted out if I hadn’t won the blockbuster and with Barrett’s speech, he is wondering how long this turn has been in the works for. Correct. Dee and Devens talk about Barrett’s speech which they said was too much. Devens says that he doesn’t think Drew knew this was coming and Dee says yes he did and that Devens has to open his eyes. He gets mad at that comment telling her to quit talking to him like he’s an idiot. She stops and asks if he’s legitimately mad right now and he says yes. She laughs and apologizes saying I’m sorry as the two laugh. She says well, quit joking with me. Don’t make me mad or I’m going to put Doritos in your bed. Funny throwback to the Doritos moment. LOL. Meanwhile, Drew and Barrett still don’t think Dee is telling the truth about the bribe. Dee, Devens, and Yash all talk with them saying if they stay, they won’t target him next week as Devens says his new target is Barrett. Angela is still fuming over Barrett. In an amazing turn of events with Barrett and Drew, Barrett just openly decides to tell Drew that he was going to vote him out if Drew hadn’t won that blockbuster. Why he felt the need to tell Drew this info, I don’t know. Drew is just kind of Drew when he gets told. When Drew leaves the room, Drew goes into shocked oh my goodness revelation mode. Drew tells Dee that Barrett just revealed that to him. Taylor continues to try and get Yash to tell about the bribe and Yash continues to deny. Drew tells Barrett that he would like to win the veto and use it on Angela to get Yash to go against Dee and Devens in the blockbuster. Barrett tells him that if he was going to use it on anyone that he would prefer Angela. Barrett says “you know what, you’ve convinced me. I’m picking you for veto”. From what I’ve gathered, that is not actually what Drew would do with the veto. During the night, we finally do get Yash admitting to Taylor that his bribe did include the three icons. He makes her promise to keep it to herself. He said he had no choice cause he was going on the block if he didn’t and he would have been in trouble.
Saturday will be the all important veto competition which will be BB Comics. The feeds will be down for a while for this as BB Comics usually is a long time to get done. A wild Friday in the Big Brother house! What will Saturday bring?
