Day 14 in the Big Brother house saw the veto ceremony take place and the long wait of would it be Lyric or Melody for veto came to an end. We also saw new alliance talk.
Main happenings of the day. Veto, veto, and veto. This has dragged out full over the weekend of will Devens take Lyric or Melody off the block? Devens did tell people his plan before the ceremony with him telling Rome that he was following through on the deal with Rome to take Lyric off the block with Rome agreeing to follow through on his end. Devens also told Lyric the news. The veto ceremony happens and Devens did in fact take Lyric off the block and put up Rome in her place. So, it’s Rome, Jason, and Melody on the block on Thursday. Melody talked to Mallory later in the day pondering what Lyric could have offered for a deal cause Melody was offering Devens everything. Two alliances were pitched during the day. Yash pitched to Devens about an alliance with Yash, Devens, Drew, and Barrett. Devens told Barrett about the pitch and also told the rest of the crossovers. They also all laughed about it realizing that it was all men that he was pitching for the alliance. The other alliance pitched was Angela and Dee pitching to Taylor about the three of them and Lala working together. Taylor said she was good with it. Taylor took that info to Lala later in the day and Lala said it sounded good to her. Taylor and Lala don’t like Angela though and have been vocal on that but willing to work together. The distrust of the crossovers continues. Angela still won’t let the Drew thing go. Barrett has went to bat for Drew saying you can trust him. Dee and Angela did talk about the vote with Dee saying she wouldn’t mind Melody going home to weaken Drew but Angela actually pushes back on that saying Jason is more dangerous. Angela also did learn from Rome in a convo that Jason was the one saying Angela was the ringleader in the upstairs late night HOH session. Barrett and Drew talked while doing laps in the backyard last night. Drew talked of how locked he was with Angela and wouldn’t turn on her. Drew and Barrett locked a final two with one another. Barrett also named his priority list of the crossovers of top to bottom who were the main priorities to him and he mentions Drew as his top followed by Devens, Angela, and then Dee at the bottom. Dee has been trying to get a flirtmance going with Barrett and Mallory but Barrett has shut it down. Lyric also told Mallory the same on the other end but Mallory shut it down saying she’s ehh on him cause of him lying to her. You may ask what about the flirting that seemed to be going on with Dee and Barrett? Dee talked to Haley and Angela about it last night saying it was just friends type cuddling and nothing else. Drew and Melody continue to spend time with one another and they are definitely a topic in the house.
Other happenings in the house. Rome and Haley apologized to each other over the post nomination ceremony outburst at one another. Rome and Lyric also talked about the vote and Lyric said that she would keep Jason over Melody if that ended up being the vote. Can we just talk about those three girls just don’t seem to ever be aligned with one another? LOL. Mallory on the block. Melody distances herself. Melody on the block. Lyric wants to keep Jason. Very funny moment in the late end of the night with Dee trying to instigate a near kiss with Haley and Kamu with Dee trying to coach them on how to flirt with one another. This was hilarious on the feeds. I cracked up at Haley and Kamu leaving the room and Haley looking back at Dee and Angela with an eyes wide opened look. It looked hilarious on the closeup cam. Backyard closing earlier than normal this week so it does make you wonder if Thursday will be some sort of endurance comp for HOH.
