Day 26 in the Big Brother house was the veto competition……and a lot of waiting around for it.
Main happenings of the day. It was a slow day in the BB house but it picked up some after the veto competition. The veto draw didn’t take place till way later in the afternoon with Mallory and Chuk being picked for veto. Then, it was a lot of waiting around by the houseguests as it was an evening veto competition. From the sound of the discussion of it, it sounded like it was the wine poisoning theater type competition from last season. The feeds came back about 11:10pm BB time. Taylor is the veto winner. So, what happens now? Taylor had been Haley’s back up target. Originally, she had been Haley’s main target. It then switched to Drew. After the competition, there was a ton of discussion on who to be the replacement. Earlier in the day, Kamu had been again pushing to keep Lyric off the block and keep her safe. Haley wants to put her up. They continue to disagree with this. Later in the night, Haley, Kamu, Angela, Barrett, Dee, and Devens all talk in the HOH room having open discussion on what to do. The talk turns to Lyric again. Kamu is outnumbered in the room this time and he says if the group wants Lyric as the replacement, he’s good with it. Not much push back from him in a group setting. The topic turns to Lyric promising safety to people. Haley asks who in this room has Lyric promised to not put up on the block. Everyone raises their hands except for Barrett and they all laugh saying what are you doing Barrett? LOL. They point out how she’s promised safety to everyone but you can’t keep it with everyone. The meeting breaks up with everyone deciding to just not settle on anything for now and revisit it tomorrow. Then it’s just Dee, Angela, and Haley talking. They all agree that Lyric is the better option. She said she’s glad they were all in there to talk about this with Kamu in the room to balance it out with him. She’s still annoyed with the whole Lyric and Kamu thing. One thing Haley also talks about is how Kamu never wants to be in the room for conversations with him saying he doesn’t want to be a part of it. She said he never wants to be the third person. Haley wants to cut a deal with Mallory to keep her off the block and then put Lyric up.
Other happenings of the day. What about the power? Dee told Devens that she doesn’t have it. They think Mallory has it. I tend to think Dee doesn’t have it cause I feel like she would have told Devens. To the live feeders, it seems like it’s Drew that has it. He keeps dropping hints saying he’s going to do something crazy next week with his plan if he wins HOH to target the red corner alliance. It sure does feel like he has a power but his talk is also kind of wild. The talk with the feeders has been has he already messed up and blew it? LOL. We won’t know till we see the Sunday night episode and when we can confirm who has it and what it is. The BB community is abuzz over that Drew may have messed this up already with his future plans instead of doing something current. Angela camera talked in the HOH room about how much fun she’s having. She’s also talking about how good her reads are in the game……which they aren’t. LOL. She also talks of how she can’t wait to take out Drew cause he’s been after her all game. He hasn’t been after her at all for any part of the game. LOL. In another Angela moment, Devens told Dee that he’s getting tired of Angela. LOL. It’s clear her all over the place game play is wearing on her alliance members.
