Day 28 in the Big Brother house saw the veto ceremony take place and mostly a quiet day in the house with happenings.
Main happenings of the day. The night before was Lyric and Chuk talking where Lyric was just throwing everybody under the bus including making things up. They had planned to take it to Haley the next morning and were all excited about it. Chuk talked to Haley and Haley had no interest in the conversation. LOL. Lyric was trying to use the early morning hours to keep herself off the block. Lyric met with Haley to see the state of the replacement nominee. Haley called out Lyric on abandoning her side of the house and wanting to jump ship to the other side. She said that Lyric didn’t talk game with them until Rome was gone. Haley also mentioned how Lyric threw her own side under the bus as well. Haley tells Lyric that she is most likely going up on the block. Lyric leaves and goes to talk to Mallory. She tells Mallory that she had been mentioning them but that Haley made her do it. I threw you guys under the bus but she made me. LOL. Veto ceremony takes place and Taylor uses the veto on herself. Lyric is the replacement nominee. Lyric spends the rest of the day sad and crying…..to the people that she was throwing under the bus and backing over them again and again. Mallory tells Drew at one point that he has to win blockbuster or he’s going home cause he doesn’t have the votes. He says yeah, I do. She says he doesn’t have the votes on that side of the house. That scares Drew and he goes to Devens and Barrett to shake his nervousness and asks are you keeping me and they say yes. You’d tell me if I was going, right? Yes. Devens and Barrett talk for a while by themselves going over the game and figuring out how to proceed once Drew is gone. Kamu and Haley talk and surprisingly Kamu starts pitching to send out Lyric over Melody if Drew wins the blockbuster. Haley is all for this. They are good with the plan. Devens and Dee enter the chat and they pitch it to them. Devens and Dee send the conversation back to evicting Melody over Lyric.
That’s pretty much it for the day. The houseguests are stuck inside for the week so the assumption among them in the house is that the wall comp is coming on Thursday. That tends to be where I lean as well. Usually with these many days of closed off backyard, it tends to be the wall. We’ll see though if that’s true. They are getting very antsy being stuck inside though wanting to go outside.
