Day 40 in the Big Brother house.
Main happenings. The veto players were picked first thing in the morning with it being Barrett and Melody. Mallory joked saying is my name even in that thing cause I never get picked. LOL. She did get named to host however. We had a talk early in the day with Dee and Drew where he joked but was also serious of can you please quit leaking info that I keep telling you cause it’s messing me up. LOL. Dee told him he was right and the two had a fun conversation and it feels like they are on the same page now. The Drew paranoia is starting to thankfully finally settle especially since they see how important he’s been to them this week with info he’s given them. Drew filled her in on that Kamu is running Yash’s HOH and that you are the target from them. He also told her that Barrett is the replacement nominee that they are talking about up there. Drew also told Barrett that he needed to win veto cause he is the replacement nominee that is being discussed. Next, we get to powers talk. Dee and Devens talk about the bribe and the diamond power of veto. If she offers the bribe to Devens, they could use that as the way of using the DPOV on her as some way to spin things. Dee also gives a heads up to Angela of something is brewing. The veto competition takes place and as speculated is OTEV. Yash wins the veto so now he has all power this week. Well, normal power anyway. There are powers in play way over his normal powers. LOL. Devens is shown solo talking in the gym where he is talking out loud pondering what to do. Should I put up Kamu? What if we took the crossovers and combined with Mallory and Melody and just declare war on the house? How big do I blow this thing up on Monday? That kind of game talk. It was fun watching online as his wife, Becca, was saying to do it and put up Kamu. His Survivor partner, Aubry, was also hyping him up of go do Rick Devens things. Dee tells Drew about the bribe power. Most know about the bribe power as the day goes along. We go upstairs from here with Kamu and Yash having the biggest bro talk up there of what they should do with the veto and who to put up and how and when and what if and this and that. They talk of wanting to use it on Angela. Leave Haley on the block. Their ally. Taylor jumps in this conversation where they all agree how dangerous Barrett is in the game. They all talk of how they don’t trust Devens and ponder if they should question him on potential nominees to see where he would lie with things on his answers. After all the veto talk, they ultimately land on not using the veto. This is Big Brother and it’s a long time till Monday so this can obviously change at any time and I’m sure talk will ramp back up at some point. I think this goes right down to the wire on Monday. Mallory talked to Yash and Taylor and when asked who she’d prefer out, she says Haley. That isn’t what they want to hear obviously from Mallory but Mallory has been consistent in wanting Haley out. Haley and Kamu talk and are back on the same page wanting to work together. She talks of being ok on the block and that she’d actually do it one more time if need be. That’s insane cause you never put your ally on the block. Ask Quinn. Well, actually ask many from years past. Kamu and Devens talked where they went over the game including Kamu saying he’s going toward Dee for eviction over Haley. Melody and Dee had a really good conversation that lasted an hour or so. Talking about everything including life. Dee is really great in one on one conversations. This got both of them on the same page with one another. Melody told Drew later that she loves Dee. Dee later in the night walked up on Drew and Barrett at the hammock with Drew saying that Melody loves you now and Dee said I love her too. Love seeing those two get on the same page. Devens, Drew, and Barrett all talked about forming the alliance of the crossovers and FAP. Devens said it’s interesting how it’s an alliance of all people that America voted for. This led to Drew and Barrett teasing him of what power do you have and Devens teasing back. They’re all aware of what’s going on here. LOL. Yash, Taylor, Kamu, and Haley all lock in their alliance and they say Dee is the target and that they aren’t going to use the veto on Haley, their ally, who will very likely have a big chance to go home depending on how the dominoes fall. They say they have the votes to keep Haley. They don’t actually have the votes to keep Haley. FAP meets in the backyard with a very fun conversation where they talk about the current standings of the game and with working with the icons. They’re ready to go after the HOH crew. Drew tells them that we need to be careful with what we say cause we don’t want to scare Yash into using the veto. They go over voting scenarios and they agree they’re keeping Dee. Melody says we’re keeping Dee no matter what scenario. FAP is in a really good spot here if this all falls into place. Later, Drew and Melody go and talk to Yash and Taylor. They say we’re good with voting Dee out but they are iffy on Haley. Another red flag should be to them that they don’t have the votes to keep Haley like they think they do. Earlier there was discussion of doing a formal meeting on Sunday between the crossovers and FAP to officially solidify things.
Other happenings. Melody’s punishment ended not long after the veto competition. She was a great sport about the whole thing. She didn’t sleep much through the night which she expected. She talked of how tired she was. The houseguests got the backyard in the night. It was pretty amazing that production got that tore down in that amount of time getting the backyard open again. The houseguests bolted for the outside screaming, cheering, and running as the cabin fever was real for them. Many days since they’ve had the backyard. Funny moment with Mallory immediately going to her hammock and swinging. Big Brother telling her “stop that” with Mallory saying you’re going let me swing or I’m going to sing all through the live show. LOL. Big Brother responded with a “chill out”. Mallory and Melody both laughed. LOL.
