Day 74 in the Big Brother house.
The houseguests slept in late after the very late HOH competition on Thursday night into Friday morning. Devens did win the HOH competition and BB did a wakeup call getting the house up as nominations would be coming later in the day. There was a big battle over the nominations with Drew. The plan for Devens and Dee was to put Drew on the block. They played it up like it was going to be a battle between Dee and Drew on who the second nom would be against Melody. They brought Drew up letting him give his voice and opinion on it so they wanted to make it look like Devens was listening to both sides to make a decisions and to make sure Drew felt heard but the plan was to put Drew on the block. They voiced being afraid of what Melody would do this week. Dee and Drew both battled on their reasoning on why each should be left off the block while Devens looked like a dad with his kids bickering. LOL. At one point, Devens said it’s Twinkie time while they battled. LOL. Drew negotiated with his HOH letter among other things. Drew probably promised his first born at one point. LOL. Drew was putting in the battle strong to keep himself off the block with pleas but the plan was already in place. Nominations do happen and it’s Drew and Melody on the block. Melody got her storage room surprise with getting her HOH basket while the house celebrated her. In a camera talk, we had Devens giving his thoughts on the end game while sitting in the balcony in the backyard. He said he feels good about being able to beat everyone except for Dee. He said Dee is the only one that makes him nervous. He says he doesn’t want to turn on her though while also saying he still needs her in the game to help actually get him to the final two. He’s definitely aware that Dee is the person he will have trouble with in a final two scenario. We got the camera talk the previous day from Dee where she knows that’s a problem for her too going against Devens. She has talked about cutting Devens at three and taking Melody to the final two. Saturday will be the veto competition where we’ll see how the nominations hold.
